Poughkeepsie Journal (NY) - May 8, 1999 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deceased Name: Stacy Lynn Grow RALEIGH, N.C. - Stacy Lynn Grow, 28, a previous resident of Stanfordville and more recent resident of Raleigh, died 5/6, 1999. Ms. Grow was an U.S. Army M.P. (Military Police) soldier during the Persian Gulf War. She attained the rank of sergeant in 1988 and served until 1992. In addition to serving in the Color Guard, she was a member of the U.S. Army M.P.s equivalent to a municipal police force 'SWAT" team. After leaving military service, she was the interplant coordinator for Square D Corp., Raleigh, N.C. Born Nov. 23, 1970, in Laramie, Wyo., she was a daughter of Russell and Suzanne Klatt Grow. She was a graduate of Stissing Mountain Jr. and Sr. High School, Pine Plains, and graduated cum laude from North Carolina Wesleyan College, North Carolina. Survivors include her parents, Russell and Suzanne Klatt Grow, Stanfordville; a sister, Lisa Grow, Baltimore, Md.; three aunts, Vicki Svenson, New Carrollton, Md., Cindy Bielski, Atlanta, Ga., Judy Perisho, West Plains, Mo.; and a great-aunt, Madelynn Thomas, Tampa, Fla. Ms. Grows grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Klatt and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Grow, and Uncle and Aunt Donald and Susan Grow, died previously. Calling hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. 5/10, at Peck & Peck Funeral Home, South Main Street, Pine Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. 5/ 11, at Immaculate Conception Church, Bangall, with the Rev. Richard OGorman officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Bangall.
