Michael John Fried, 65, of Dobbs Ferry, died on December 21, 2004. Mr. Fried was born in New York City on August 21, 1939, the son of John and Catherine (Torpey) Fried. Mr. Fried served in the Army from 1959 to 1961. On December 18, 1965, Michael married Eileen Lawler at Holy Cross RC Church in the Bronx. They moved to and had resided in Dobbs Ferry since 1972. He was an avid fisherman and devoted Met fan. He is survived by his beloved wife Eileen; daughter Georgann Perry (Daniel) of Dobbs Ferry; granddaughter Caitlin Claire; grandson Michael Peter; brothers Thomas, Joseph, and Lawrence; and sister Ann Shearer.
