Judith Ross Boynton, 54

Boynton Services planned for November LAKEVILLE — Judith Ross Boynton, 54, died Sunday, Oct. 10, at Sharon Hospital, after a battle with ALS and chronic Lyme disease. She was the wife of Richard FitzRandolph Boynton. Mrs. Boynton was the daughter of Jeanne Ragsdale Boynton of Lakeville. She was a graduate of Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, Pa., and held degrees from Kirkland College (now part of Hamilton College) in Clinton, N.Y., and the University of Pennsylvania. She was on the faculty at Abington Friends School, the Ethel Walker School, Renbrook School and the Virginia Beach Friends School. In 1992, she became the head of Town Hill School, where she served until 1996. From 1996, until her illness, she was a program officer for the Dyson Foundation of Millbrook, N.Y., and served as a past board member of both Germantown Friends School and Stratford Friends School. Besides her husband of 27 years and her mother, she leaves a son, Kyle Randolph Boynton of Charlottesville, Va.; a daughter, Ashleigh Reeve Boynton of Boston, Mass., and three sisters, Pamela Fuller Boynton of East Providence, R.I., Sandra Keith Boynton of Lakeville and Laura Wolcott Boynton of Litchfield. Arrangements: Quaker meeting for worship is planned for late November in Lakeville. Arrangements by Kenny Funeral Home, 41 Main St., Sharon.
