Lonnie was born September 17, 1957, in Sedalia Missouri. Raised in Merced, CA, he moved to Reno in 1985. He worked as a Reno Police Dispatcher for 10 years prior to his illness. Lonnie is survived by his wife, Pamela Benedict stepsons, Shane and Chase Ivey sister, Ruby Benedict of Pahrump, NV.
