Hartford Courant, The (CT) - January 7, 2006 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deceased Name: LAMONICO, PHILIP J. LaMONICO, Philip J. Philip J. LaMonico, 69, of Burlington, husband of Lucy (DeCrisantis) LaMonico, died on Friday, (January 6, 2006) at Bristol Hospital. Mr. LaMonico was born in Bristol on February 4, 1936, and was a son of the late James and Anna (DiPinto) LaMonico. He was raised in Bristol where he graduated from Bristol High School. He has resided in Burlington for the past 44 years and was owner and operator of the family business, LaMonico's Restaurant. He served in the Connecticut Army National Guard for ten years achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He loved music and his family and was a 3rd Degree member of Palos Council #35 Knights of Columbus. In addition to his wife of 44 years, Mr. LaMonico is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jaimie Philip LaMonico and Lisa LaMonico of Burlington; a daughter and son-in-law, Louanne LaMonico-Sack and Nick Sack of Stamford; three sisters; two grandchildren, Andrew Philip LaMonico and Karly Ann LaMonico; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church. Burial, with Military Honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lyme Disease Association, PO Box 1438, Jackson, NJ 08527.
