Why should my tester be certified?

Local water purveyor requires certification of persons testing backflow devices.

How can I become a certified Backflow tester?

Testers must attend an approved 40 hour training class.  Certification expires December 31st, of the third year, after certified.  To renew certification persons must attend 8 hours of recertification.
