The intention of this page and all other education pages on this site is to provide notaries seeking assistance with education and referral information. We do not claim to be the law or the maker of any laws, and if you do not reside in the state of Texas you must review your own state laws. To the best of my ability I have given you a general outline of what I know the Texas laws to be, however do not take me to be the only source you choose to refer to regarding the law. Make sure you read the Texas laws and have an understanding of what is required of notaries in the states you practice notary signing.

To give you an idea of what we offer here is a small section of my "Signing Company General Directions...What to expect." You will find it filled with detailed and extremely helpful information for the beginner or even for those who have been signing for several months. The directions provided by the signing and title companies are often generally the same in content...although its very important to read them and know what to look for. They all have specific requirements from the loan company that they must have completed in order for the loan to fund...you are their lifeline to the customer and it is crucial you know what to expect in reading their instructions.
