One of the questions that is often on the minds of our geusts at these sessions is, "Just who is it that you are channeling?" or, "How do we know we can trust what we are hearing?" I will do my best to address these questions in the following few paragraphs.
Q: What is the 'Light Council'? The Light Council has been described in sessions as a sort of regulating committee. Not in the sense that they are controlling us or asking that we follow commandments - more in the sense of setting up certain laws of physicality that allow us, as souls incarnate, to experience the physical life described as a human experience. For example, most of us do not remember much about past lives. It is a part of the path of human evolution to move through this life and experience THIS now and learn from it. Many of us have learned about past lives only to find that it is only food for the mind, interesting but not very useful. Our forgetfullness helps to keep us focussed on this life, and we generally do not remember these past lives until we are mature enough to either learn something of value or not be too distracted by them. It is a service that we have requested on the level of Spirit.
Q: How do I know I can trust what I am hearing? What if they have their own agenda or evil intentions? How do I know you are channeling a high guide? Yes, guides do have their own agenda, or impetus for desiring contact. Guraj's stated intention is to co-create a more beautiful existence. A high guide will make contact based on wether or not their agenda meshes with the agenda of your own soul, and on wether their contact with you will serve the greater good of the universe. A high guide will never attempt to coerce you with fear, or attempt to make you feel small. Place your attention on your body when listening to or reading channeled information. How do you feel? A high guide will feel good, will feel expansive, and may feel quite intense. A high guide should never make you feel negative energies. Trust your intuition, trust your feelings. Do not trust me because I say so. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE if your clear message from Spirit or your own experience says not to trust them. I was very careful in the beginning when first opening to channel. I dismissed the first couple of guides I connected with, until I reached one that felt high, loving, and wise. Still I maintained my distance until I had built a measure of trust with Guraj(the representative of the Light Council that speaks through me). Great question! I'll post the info here when I get some sort of solid answer on this. Guraj has described himself to me as a sort of cosmic wanderer. He enjoys the adventure of sticking with one area of existence for a while, then moving on to new experiences. More to come!
