Love for Life

Why do people fall in love with one another? How do they do it? I mean, by what mechanisms do we, as humans, decide who we are going to love, why and how quickly these changes in feelings take place? Beats the hell out of me, but it happens... and it feels so good!

Well, there is a girl, whom I have fallen in love with. Let's call her Samantha. Sammy has managed to sneak in and take me by storm.

My dearest Samantha,

We share a unique bond of love and understanding of each other. You have learned things about me that would make many turn away. You encourage me to be me. I learn things about you daily, and I appreciate your openess, your willingness to communicate with me about your life and deepest secrets. I trust in you and respect your uniqueness of character. I value your trust that you have placed in me, and cherish the moments we spend talking.
