Headwoman Cookie

Common Knowledge: Cookie is the headwoman of Last Hope Weyr, and runs a tight ship. Bluntly, she’s a holy terror – but a competent, efficient holy terror. When she does a thing, it’s done right. The kitchens and lower caverns are wholly her domain, and woe to the rider, candidate, or worker who provokes her ire. One of the surest ways to do this is to criticize the way she runs things. She has little tolerance for silliness, having a straightforward and businesslike approach herself.  She also harbors a hatred for pesky firelizards, and is the mother of the Weyrman S'tar.

Zubrette /9/Last Hope Weyr/Junior apprentice Healer

Common Knowledge: Zubrette follows in her sister Mhari’s footsteps, she’s a generally quiet girl and thinks things through as much as she can. She hates making decisions, particularly ones that will affect others. She isn’t sure that she has the right to make decisions that will affect others without permission. If it weren’t for the fact that Quentin, Stephen and Mhari all looked out for her she’d have been easy prey for almost anyone.

Master Healer Selwyn

Common Knowledge: Selwyn is a great believer in practicality he loves efficiency as well. Thankfully he accepts that some of his fellow healers don’t always agree with his philosophies but he’s willing to allow others their own way, other healers that is anyway… As such he’s a great believer in ‘neat’, and Zelia is a great trial to his tolerance.

Master Healer Zelia

Common Knowledge: Zelia is the more relaxed of the healers, if you need something done that you’d rather no one knew about, get Zelia to do it. That’s not to say that she’ll hide things from Perone, but she’ll spare the details where possible. She’s also more disorganized, or it looks that way if you look at her desk anyway… While Selwyn likes order Zelia prefers to have things organized in a different fashion. She maintains, like any teenager, that she can find whatever she wants in the ‘mess’ everyone else sees.
