Book Worm
Hello, my name is Catharine, and I'm addicted to books.
I can't help myself. I love the written word. I have a tendency to read between 2 and 5 books per week, depending on how bored I am at work. I read eBooks, paperbacks, hardbacks, billboards, t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc. I also listen to AudioBooks, since I can't actually read in the car (something that greatly saddens me, since I spend a great deal of time in the car, as my commute is 30 minutes, one way).
I began my illustrious reading career when I was three years old. My twin brother was in the hospital fighting (and winning!) his battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma, and I wanted to read to him. So, I climbed into my uncle's lap and demanded that he read The Cat in the Hat to me over and over again until I could recognize the words. After that, I was fairly unstoppable.
I remember going to the library in 4th grade and being denied a copy of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet because the librarian thought it was "too advanced" for me. I went to the teacher, who checked it out for me. Or reading the works of Steven King shortly thereafter... as I said, I'm addicted.

I'm attempting to compile a list of all the books that I own or will read (since I can't logically remember every single book I've ever read). I began making a list of the books I hope to read in the coming year: 50 new books, and 50 that I've already read but wish to re-read to see if I can find any details that I might've missed beforehand.
