Pulau Sapi
A small island of 25 acres, Sapi has one of the nicest beaches in the Park. Sapi Island is located off the coast of downtown Kota Kinabalu. Its clean white sand and crystal clear water and coral reefs fringing the shoreline makes it ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving. Day-use facilities include a jetty, picnic shelters, barbecue pits, tables, changing rooms and toilets. Camping is allowed, with the permission of the Park Warden.

 

 

Pulau Mamutik
Pulau Mamutik makes it the smallest of the five islands in the Park. Covering 15 acres, Mamutik is the smallest of the 5 islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Rich coral life surrounds the island. It has a jetty, 3 bedroom resthouse for rent and staff quarters for the Rangers stationed there. Facilities include changing rooms, toilets, picnic shelters, tables and barbecue pits. Fresh water and electricity are available. Visitors staying there must bring their own food as there is no canteen on the island.

 

 

Pulau Manukan

Manukan Island is one of the 5 islands under Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Pulau Manukan 51 acres boomerang shaped island is the second largest of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, has good stretches of beaches on the southern coastline. Only 20 minutes by boat from the state capital of Kota Kinabalu City.

There are coral beds on the eastern and the western reefs and multicolored coral fishes abound here.

Manukan offers clear waters and beautiful coral reefs.  Shaped like a dolphin, the island is 1½ km long and blessed with a long stretch of white sandy beach promising hours of sea, sand and fun! The island is an excellent venue for water-skiing and sea-sports..

  The Manukan Island Restaurant offers a wide selection of Asian and Continental cuisine or visitors may make pre-arrangement for barbecue. The island is also ideal for small to medium sized group meetings.
