ABOUT THE AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR

Theresa Santano, Ed.D is an experienced author and veteran teacher with Master's Degrees in Elementary Education and Supervision and Administration. Her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership is from St. John's University in Jamaica, NY. Her 30 years of teaching include all of the elementary grades, the writing of curriculum, Adjunct teaching and teacher training at the College level. She has written many books and magazine articles in the area of individualized instruction, social studies, writing and the Arts. Professional awards include: WNET/13 Cultural Education Curriculum Award, IMPACT II Developer Grants, Kappa Delta Pi Arts in Education Award, NYS Bicentennial Commission Award, and the United States Bicentennial Commission Award.
