My role as the 6th grade math teacher at the Classical Center of Brandenburg Middle School is to provide a challenging and rewarding learning experience for my students. The 6th Grade Math Department will cover a number of topics that align with the TEKS standards. Students will complete a number of activities using Hands-On Math that help develop a deeper understanding of math algorithms. The focus of this year is to incorporate state and district assessments as well as teaching each student how to become responsible academically and socially.
