Most people discover that she is Syaoran's fiancé. She's always so fierce and full of jealousy when girls are around Syaoran; especially Sakura. She sometimes thinks that she's the most powerful Cardcaptor but she has no magical powers. But she's a powerful fighter and she never gives up on anything. As the year passes by, Meilin (like Syaoran) begins to realize that capturing the Clow Cards requires more than just individual work. Team work is needed to capture them and that's exactly how she became best friends with Sakura and Tomoyo. Then later on, she begins to realize that Syaoran loves Sakura and not her. She accepts it and breaks off the engagement with Syaoran. In the second movie, she and Tomoyo attempt to put Sakura and Syaoran together. Meilin does this to make sure Syaoran deserves the best since he is her dearest cousin.
