WELCOMEThe “Career Planning” curriculum web is designed to get students in grade levels 9-12 thinking about their future career possibilities and to learn job skills for the present and future. Students will take a Career Quiz to find out their career interests and then they will research a career for that chosen career area. Students will then use job search engines to look for a current open job position in that career area. They will complete an application, write a cover and resume for that job. Students will then learn how to participate in a successful interview. In the end, students will participate in a mock job interview. Please use the links in the navigation bar to help you navigate through the website. Begin with the "Finding a Career" link and work your way through the rest of the links, ending with "Turning in Project." Complete all tasks and assignments under each link. |
