Chapter Five
Pages 94-97
Create an image 500x500 pixels etc.
Select foreground color, adjust the saturation/lightness
Select background color, adjust the saturation/lightness
Reverse the color selections using the double arrow
Add a border (use a different color)
Save the image as color1.jpg
Upload to your web site to the images directory
Pages 99-100
Create an image 500x500 pixels etc.
Select a gradient
You may also adjust the angle (if you want)
Select a gradient style
Select a tool and draw a line or a shape
Save the image as color2.jpg
Upload to your web site to the images directory
Pages 101-103
Open the fountain image
Use the fountain as the background pattern
Select a tool and draw a line or a shape
Enter your name as the artist
Select Image Menu
Select Creator information option
Always include your name as the artist name
CLICK OK
Save the image as font5.gif
Upload to your web site to the images directory
Pages 104-107
Create an image 500x500 pixels etc.
Create a heart image
Select a tool and draw a heart
Use a texture for the fill color and fill in the heart
Change the background color
Save the image as heart.jpg
Upload to your web site to the images directory

Open the fountain graphic
Adjust the image to a negative image
Save the image fountneg.gif
Upload to your web site to the images directory
Web Page
Create a web page using Netscape Composer or Microsoft FrontPage or Microsoft Word
Change the background to any color other than white
Create a title for the page
Insert all the images (5) with captions
Save the page as wk4lab.htm
Upload the page to your web site to lab directory
Submit the URL to your new page
NOTE: You may have to adjust the links for the graphics once the page is uploaded.
Select the wk4lab.htm file
Select the Edit option
Change the link to read ../images/ before each graphic name and not to the C: drive or A: drive
For ex. <img src = "../images/name.jpg">
Save the file
