Juxta-Statement: All of my art culminates from varied inspiration; whether it be disturbing childhood memories of being trapped in places like mausoleums, attics, or toy boxes. Pop culture, the relentless media whoring that surrounds us everywhere we go, sometimes even my own sick sexual fetishes and long repressed memories will manifest themselves in a dream and spark something unwholesome. Altogether these disturbing images/thoughts from my soul and subconscious are then forced through an artistic sieve. The end result being an image (or images) with hidden meaning overlapping deranged puzzle like patterns, and shapes intended to transcend the viewer into a glimpse of the artist's personage. +++KL 2006
