Professor Mark Berger was the director of The Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Kentucky until his death on April 30, 2003 at age 47. Also, he was a Fullbright Scholar at University College Dublin.

Death

Berger died at age 47 on April 30, 2003 of a seizure. He had returned to Kentucky from Ireland to receive treatment for recently diagnosed cancer. During the chemotherapy Berger was given a different seizure medication which did not prevent the fatal seizure. Secure Horizons health insurance.
