Intro

Everyone talks about the weather, but no one does anything about it. - Mark Twain The oddest thing is to me in edu conferences (maintly teacher work shops) everyone and their cat says, "Oh, i wish we could teach using the Montessori method..." - well, why don't they? One part of the problem is that Maria would have us give up how we KNOW things are supposed to work. And consequently, we'd (as teachers) have to give up: A lot of control and comfort Our simple, spoon-feed methods that don't require thinking In other words, we'd have to tune our selves into the student's needs rather than the systems. That being said, .....
