Animal
by Prick |
I wait all night for you. The priceless coat you wear. Fox or chinchilla, beaver, it doesn't matter. To me it's hair. I can't get anything done with you walking around like that. I can't take a poke at fun with that animal on your back. I wake up wanting you, but you are rarely there. I hum a song and I prowl and long. I growl, but you don't care. I can't get anything done with you shaking around like that. I can't take your love for fun with that animal on your back. (2x) Animal! Do you like that? How 'bout this. You like this? Animal. Our naked history. Shattered in a bad wrap. But those days are decades, dollars, and centuries. It's a tale in a trap. You really don't know do ya? Conscience is all I need to bring out the savage in me. Your scent is all I need to bring out the animal in me. I can't get anything done with you shaking around like that. I can't take your love for fun with that animal on your back. Animal! (2x) With that animal! (3x) |
I listened to some other songs by Prick. Didn't like any of them. This one is great. It's strange how a song can represent the antithesis of what I would concider desirable, but still I'm all over it. It's the atmosphere created by the music and vocal sound, I guess. Maybe there's something else. |
