Lacy 1 Stitch


Multiple of 2 sts + 1.

Row 1:  Insert hook in 3rd ch from hook. YO and draw through a loop. *Ch 1. Miss 1 ch. Insert hook in next ch. YO and draw through a lp. Repeat from * to end of ch.

Row 2:  Same as basic afghan stitch (BAS), drawing yarn through 1st loop. *Ch 1, YO and draw through 2 loops. Repeat from * to end of Row. Ch 1.

Row 3:  Insert hook through vertical st of previous row, YO and draw through a lp, ch 1. Repeat from * across.

Row 4:  Rep row 2.

Lacy 2 Stitch

Multiple of 2 sts + 1.

Row 1:  Insert hook in 3rd ch from hook. Yo and draw through a loop. *Ch 1. Miss 1 ch. Insert hook in next ch. YO and draw through a lp. Repeat from * to end of ch.

Row 2:  Same as basic afghan stitch (BAS), drawing yarn through 1st loop. *Ch 1, YO and draw through 2 loops. Repeat from * to end of Row. Ch 1.

Row 3:  *Insert hook through vertical st of previous row, YO and draw through a lp, ch 1. Repeat from * across.

Lacy 3 Stitch


Multiple of 2 sts + 1

k = knit stitch

Row 1:  BAS.

Row 2:  With 1 loop on hook, 2 ch, *skip next st, YO, 1 k into next st, 2 ch; rep from * to end.

Row 3:  With 1 loop on hook, 2 ch, *skip next sp, YO, 1 k into upper of 2 ch of previous Forward row, 2 ch, rep from * to end.
