MATERIAL AND ENERGY DUPLICATION:
Amazing Man can take on the properties of any material he touches, giving him Strength, Endurance, and Body Armor of rank equal to the material strength of the object touched; his Health is increased if his abilities increase, but does not decline if he absorbs from an object with a material strength rank lower then his normal abilities. The upper limit for the transformation is Unearthly; it he touched Captain America's shield, his abilities would rise to Unearthly, not Class 3000. He can remain in a particular transformation as long as he wishes. If the object touched holds some form of energy (such as a battery or a blast furnace), he absorbs the energy properties as well. Amazing Man is not hurt by this energy and ran retain it for up to 10 rounds.

The All-Star Squadron
Naturally athletic, Will Everett trained through high school to enter the 1936 Berlin Olympics. There, he and Jesse Owens proved Adolf Hitler's racist assertions wrong by winning headlines and gold medals. Despite international acclaim, Everett was still unable to find work upon his return to the United States, and eventually wound up sweeping the floors at a laboratory owned by Dr. Terry Curtis. One evening there, Everett was kidnapped by gun-wielding minions of the villainous Ultra-Humanite and taken to a hidden lair, where he was subjected to the power of an electro-generator built by Dr. Curtis. During the experiment, the generator exploded, granting Everett the power to temporarily absorb the property of any material with which he came into contact.
At first, Everett agreed to work with the Ultra-Humanite, hoping his hometown of Detroit and his parents would be spared from Ultra's world-conquering plans. But, realizing he had been duped, Everett turned on the Ultra-Humanite, and joined forces instead with the All-Star Squadron to save the world. His status since the end of World War II is currently unknown.
