The beginning of my journey...

Eric & Me, Florida 4/05 ~155lbs

Thanks for visiting my blog page.. here's just a little background info on who I am and why I have this page...

I started this website as a way to share my life (and all it's funny stories) with my Weight Watchers chat mates.

I began WW in March, 2002 with my husband and we both lost 20 lbs in 3 months. It was great, I felt great and looked good too (he looked really good)! But like they say, all good things must come to an end... eventually I stopped counting points, stopped exercising and gained most of the weight back. I've tried several times to get back on the plan but failed within a week each time. Part of the problem was even though I gained the weight back I never went up in clothing size (a little tighter) so I was basically in denial!!

Well here it is January 2006 and I have recommitted myself to WW (hubby too). I started on 1/4/06 and have lost 8lbs in three weeks. I'm feeling good so far (little bumps in the road), really trying to commit to exercise and staying within my points most of the time (weekends have become a challenge).

My life... I am 35 years old and married to most wonderful man in the world (truly a Saint, just ask anyone), he is the love of my life. We have 4 wonderful, smart, eccentric, active, handsome, athletic, talented boys.

Alex is 16, he's a sophomore in HS and is an excellent baseball player, very dedicated, perfectionist. He's in the process of getting his drivers license, has his first job (KFC not so good for the diet) and is learning to play the guitar and just joined his first band... he falls under the handsome, athletic, smart & talented categories.

Dylan is 14, a freshman in HS and is also a great baseball player. He is definitely a middle child (people pleaser, attention getter). Dylan is a much more "rounded" child, he loves all sports and will play anything and loves to have fun! He is the social butterfly, tons of friends, always involved in things. He is making his way in HS (it started a little rocky) and will someday be something none of us could ever expect!! he falls under the athletic, ECCENTRIC, handsome, ACTIVE categories.

Aaron is 7, he's in the first grade and although he falls in the middle you would certainly think he was the youngest. He is a blond haired, blue eyed, beautiful ball of fire!! Aaron has spent most of his young life following his brothers around for their sports so he's not overly interested at this point. He's tried soccer, baseball, basketball and football. So far he loves basketball, the rest he could live without. He has the biggest heart, very affectionate and well know for his hugs and kisses (destined to be a politician some say)!! Aaron falls under the HANDSOME, active, smart, talented categories.

Noah is 4 (soon to be 5), last but most definitely not least, is our baby Noah. He just loves to be around people, loves to be active and mostly loves to be annoying to his brothers. Noah is emotional, eccentric (pretends to be a girl), dramatic, spoiled, very LOUD and most of all, he's my baby. He is very confident and will not back down from anything. My father who passed away 5 days before Noah was born, told us he knew for certain Noah would do great things some day and we can all see that now. He is definitely ECCENTRIC, active, handsome, smart and talented (he got the best of all of them)!

Be sure to check back for updates on my WW journey and my life in general and take a look at my photo album for great pictures of my boys...
