Mike Powers, who I was actually fond of as he seemed like a pretty stand up guy. He has been involved in illegal dealings with a judge in edmonds who was prosecuted for some drug deals of some sort. He is a true tv detective (i'm not talkin bout matlock), in a seedy office above a truly seedy nightclub in downtown everett. The guy is a piece of work. He was given many names to investigate and pursued none. In the end he as well will sell anyone up the river to save his own ass. It would of seemed much more productive and a much better career move to do the job correctly in the beginnning than to have to try and cover your ass in the end for not doing what you should have done.

Guss Markwell has been practicing law since 2000. Previous to this he was a stand up comic and a juggler. This is something I didn't find out until well after it was too late. He has worked on a few imfamous cases and I will provide whatever links I can. He is a criminal defense attorney and claims his specialty is sex crimes. This is utter bullshit. Anyone who has done any research on sex crime defense would know he did everything wrong. Unfortunately when you are in that position of being accused you place your trust in the professional. A professional he was not. He made illegal business dealings with witnesses for the prosecution, he partook in witness tampering, and when cornered in the end he stonewalled the new attorney, provided untrue statements, dealt with the court in a passive aggressive manner, was completely unprepared for his defense and the trial was a joke. He provided no defense whatsoever, no witnesses for the defense, wouldn't even pursue them or have them questioned. Basically. This guy truly SUCKED.

In searching for a good attorney in our beautiful snohomish county I had to turn my trust to the county bar association. Completely unaware of how our justice system works I believed that this would be the way to go. I was given the name of Guss Markwell with Phillips & Mazzone. This attorney did nothing more than hold his clients hand as he sent him off to prison. He used Washington Legal Works for his investigative services. The investigator Mike Powers didn't do much more except use the counties money to pad his own wallet. The integrity of this man is truly in question. Mickey Mouse would of done a better job defending his client. When faced with being accountabe to the court regarding his ineffectiveness in defending his client, himself and his investigator provided slanderous and untrue statements to protect their own behinds.

I wanted to start a site where we can freely voice our opinions, where we can voice our anger on the injustice of the system. No system is perfect and this is the only one we have. Unless we are all educated on both sides of the game and we know how to fight back the integrity of the system will get weaker every day.
