Whether you prefer indoor or outdoor pursuits, whether you are looking for lazy days or something more active, there is something for you. In addition, there are always special events, large and small, taking place near Stanwell House.  We are always happy to help make your arrangements, as long as we have sufficient notice.

House Parties

We are happy to host your house parties and special occasions. Take over the whole of Stanwell House for celebrations or reunions. With prior arrangement we can supply celebratory meals and help make other special arrangements.

Towns and Villages

There are many interesting, historic and picturesque towns and villages to visit. Brockenhurst, Burly are full of charm.  Bucklers Hard was a ship building centre and in 1781 Agamemnon was built here for Nelson's flagship at Trafalgar. 
 Further afield, but still within travelling distance, are Southampton and Winchester.

Beaulieu the home of the National Motor Museum is a short drive away. It has been in Lord Montagu's family ownership since 1538, when Sir Thomas Wriothesley, later 1st Earl of Southampton, bought the Estate after the Dissolution of the Monasteries.Beulieu,  Few car museums in the world can match the unique collection of the world renowned National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. With the Collection now comprising some 250 vehicles - from some of the earliest examples of motoring to legendary World Record Breakers like Bluebird and Golden Arrow - you are sure to find something to fascinate you.
