Emily was inspired by an illustration in a catalogue from 1953. This fetching bathing suit is stitched in a faded blue and white stripe, rayon, faille crepe. Emily has gathers at the side bodice. The middrift is covered with a double pointed yoke. The skirt as four gores and inset modesty trunks that are sewn in white knit jersey. The top of the suit is framed with 2" band that become straps that criss cross in the back. The suit buttons up the back with navy blue, vintage, anchor buttons.
