Sacred centres may be the centre of self, the centre of the home, the centre of the the family/tribe, the centre of the land, or the centre of the world. Sacred Centre also represents,  a coming together, a meeting of minds, ideas, ideals in order that we better understand each other and are able to work together in unity.

The Kiakra was chosen as our logo  as it is one of the oldest spiritual symbols found in the world. Inscriptions of Kiakras some from 10,000 years in the past have been found all over Europe and Asia. The Kiakra  represents union, realization, wholeness. All of these are among the aims of this association.

The Sacred Centre is an association dedicated to  bringing  together people of all Paths, Faiths, Religions to promote better understanding of each other in order to positively insure the rights of each of us to to follow our personal beliefs openly, freely, legally, as long as those beliefs do not bring harm to another.

The United States is a country in which its citizens are supposed to be equal and able to  enjoy personal freedoms including the freedom of religion and spiritual beliefs. The reality is that there are tens of thousands of US Citizens who are persecuted, personally attacked,  lose their jobs, have their homes and businesses vandalized, lose their children because of their religious beliefs. Tens of thousands of others hide their beliefs and live with the constant  fear of being discovered and suffer what they have seen others suffer. The people that I refer to are Pagans. Pagans are not as often depicted by those who would persecute them. Pagans are simply people, your neighbours, who follow the Ancient Beliefs, the Ancient Gods of their Ancestors, the Norse, the Celts, the Aboriginal Americans etc. Beliefs from which Christianity has actually drawn much  of its dogma, doctrine, its holy days, its rituals.

 Within this country, is  a movement that   persecutes everyone, not only Pagans, but moderate Christians, Jews, Muslims, Aboriginal Americans , Hindus, anyone  who does not adhere to  their  strict, narrow, bigoted, dogma and doctrine. A movement whose apparent aim is to take over the courts, the legislatures, the country in order to universally enforce their beliefs. 

 Sacred Centre, is comprised of concerned citizens, of many religions, faiths, paths who demand true freedom of religion , who will not live in a religious dictatorship.  Citizens who  as a unified body will not support elected officials, anyone, who condones religious intolerance in this or any country.  Our voice will be heard whenever someone is persecuted, in any way, for their beliefs. Our voice will be heard at the polls in every election, local, state and national. In this way each and every citizen of the United States will be allowed to freely, openly, legally  follow the beliefs that are their personal choice. Follow those beliefs without fear, without reprisal, as they always should have been able to.

The Sacred Centre is also monitoring religious intolerance in other countries and will endeavor to provide  support, information, assistance to anyone who is subject to religious intolerance and persecution.
