Figure 4.29. There are two parts to this figure. In part eh the upper input terminal goes to the gate of an N channel JFET. The lower input terminal is grounded. The gate also goes to ground through a 100 k ohm resistor. The source goes to the top of a pot. The bottom of the pot is grounded and so is the wiper. There is a 100 microfarad capacitor connected from the source to ground. The drain goes through a 47 k ohm resistor to plus 12 volts. The drain also goes through a 1 microfarad cap to one end of a 100 k ohm resistor. The other end of the resistor is grounded. The junction of the cap and resistor could be an output point. In part b the upper input terminal goes to one end of a 1 microfarad cap. The other end goes to the gate of an N channel JFET. The lower input terminal is grounded. The source of the JFET goes to the collector of a BJT. The emitter of the BJT goes through a 5.6 k ohm resistor to ground. The base of the BJT goes through another 5.6 k ohm resistor to ground. The base also goes through a 51 k ohm resistor to plus 12 volts. The base also goes through a 100 k ohm resistor to the gate of the JFET. There is a 100 microfarad cap from the JFET source to ground. The drain goes through a 47 k ohm resistor to plus 12 volts. The drain also goes through a 1 microfarad cap to one end of a 100 k ohm resistor. The other end of the resistor is grounded. The junction of the cap and resistor could be an output point. End verbal description.
