Figure 4.7. This figure has 4 terminals similar to figure 4.6 b. They are labeled the same way, V sub b e, etc. The upper left terminal goes to one end of a resistor labeled h sub I e. The other end goes to common. The upper right terminal goes to one end of an ideal current source labeled I sub b times h sub f e. The other end of the current source goes to common and the arrow points down toward the common line. That's all there is to it.
