Silverthorn, Colorado was the first place we stopped for the night. We went over to the next town for dinner and had some good food and even better micro brew in a place called Pugs. I think it was about the best Pale Ale I ever had. The next day we went up through Rocky Mountain National Park towards Wyoming.

After going up through Rocky Mountain National Park, we took a slight detour through the Snowy Range Ski Area in Wyoming on our way to Riverton. While spending a few days with family in riverton, we visited South Pass City, a restored mining town.
On the way up to Dubois and the cabin, we stopped by Sinks Canyon State Park near Lander. We hiked back into the canyon and fished. We also discovered Red Canyon on our way to the sinks.
We spent about a week or maybe a little more up at the cabin. This was our base camp and it has a great view. We even saw some wildlife there.

The cabin was our base of operations, but to get to the National Parks we had to cross Togwotee Pass every day, which had some interesting features and was fairly scenic.

We spent several days driving and hiking through Yellowstone National Park. I took lots of pictures here so don't miss the second page. There is a link to it at the bottom of page one.

After visiting Yellowstone National Park for several days, we spent several more days in Grand Teton National Park.

After leaving the cabin we headed down to Moab, Utah. There we spent a day in Arches National Park.

Also while staying in Moab, Utah, we spent about a half day in Canyonlands National Park.
