Law Enforcement Exploring

The Town of Tonawanda Police Department sponsors Law Enforcement Post 1835. Explorers are young men and women who are 14 through 20 years old interested in a career in law enforcement. Explorers learn about law enforcement from the ground up in an action pact program that takes them behind the scenes to experience law enforcement through tours, presentations and perhaps most importantly, hands-on experience. The primary objective of law enforcement Explorer Post 1835 is to provide interested young men and women with the opportunity to gain a general knowledge of the work and contributions of individuals engaged in law enforcement career.


Membership Requirements

♠ Be between the ages of 14 and 20
♠Be enrolled in highschool or college
♠Obtain parents consent
♠U.S. Citizen
♠Town of Tonawanda resident
♠No criminal record or drug use
♠Must be able to pass a background investigation and oral interview with post officer's
♠Have an interest in law enforcement
