Othello was first preformed by the Kings Men on November 1, 1604 for King James the first
It was written during Shakespear's tragic period along with other famous pieces
The setting of Othello is in the middle of the war between Venice and Turkey
To this day they still question Othello's race because they refer to him as a Moor and that was more commonly used to refer to Islamic Arabic inhabitants of North Africa rather than Africans
