Tenormin passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Store Tenormin at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F ( between 20 and 25 degrees C ) away from light and moisture. Do not store Tenormin in bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.

Properly discard Tenormin when it's expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company for more details about how to safely discard your product.

Tenormin: warning

If we have chest pain ( angina ) or have heart disease ( e. g. , coronary artery disease, ischemic heart disease, high blood pressure ) , don't stop using Tenormin without first consulting your doctor. Your condition may become worse when the drug is suddenly stopped. If your doctor decides we should no longer use Tenormin, you must gradually decrease your dose according to your doctor's instructions.

When gradually stopping Tenormin, it's recommended that you temporarily limit physical activity to decrease the work on the heart. Seek immediate medical attention if we develop: worsening chest pain, tightness or pressure in chest, chest pain spreading to jaw/neck/arm, sweating, trouble breathing or fast/irregular heartbeat.
