Ellis is represented in a new art show of folk artists held at Whitewater Arts Alliance's Cultural Arts Center, 402 W. Main Street, Whitewater, WI
The show runs from August 1 - September 11, 2008

Ellis had two birthday parties. I gave him one with a delicious chocolate cake, balloons, plus a special portrait, a big basket of his favorite foods, and a camera to capture those evaporating visions. Carol Sommer gave him a Sunday afternoon party with food, cake, and about 20 guests.

NEW SCULPTURES!!! Roly-poly owls, hummingbirds sipping from colorful flowers, fantastical birds of all sizes and shapes, giant elk, lots of new verions of old favorites. I bought an amazing Compass because Ellis told me I would never get lost if I owned it. Now that's a very good thing. I wouldn't want to suddenly spin right off planet Earth. Stop by Ellis' and see what magic you can find.

October... BROOMS ARE FLYING over at Ellis Nelson's Art Garage. Check out the new witches literally on broomsticks, google-eyed bats, and scaredy cats. I bought a bat for my collection. You should too:)

Ellis has created a new version of his world-famous UFOs. Get one!

July...
Paula Romeo and her twin brother Peter visited Ellis in July. Peter bought one of Ellis' beautiful crosses. He plans to ship it to the Vatican.

June...A tour group of 33 educators visited Ellis' workshop. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the event.
