  Lesson #3 - Acronyms

-         The objective of this lesson is to use an acronym for faster and easier typing.

-         A word formed from the initial letters of the name or by combining initial letters or parts of a series of words.

-         For instance, the words brb, asap and fyi are acronyms for phrases such as be right back, as soon as possible and laugh my ass off respectively

-         Like short forms, the acronyms that have been provided above enable a person to communicate faster. For instance, the word brb takes just a couple of seconds to voice one’s urgency as opposed to the time taken to type out the phrase be right back.

-         Examples

-         Brb – Be right back, lol – Laugh out loud, Asap – As soon as possible, Fyi – For your information.
