  Lesson #2 - Alternate Spellings

-         The objective of this lesson is to understand the use of alternate spelling to make the typing easier and faster for the user.

-         An alternate spelling is usually when the spelling of a word is altered although the meaning of the word remains the same.

-         Our generation uses alternate spelling because they assume that it is cool.

-         It is clearly not a faster way of typing although it is still widely used.

-         Alternate spellings are used because they aren’t the same for everyone, people use the words which they use in their daily life and like to type that way.

Examples - what-wat,  phat-fat,  the-de, Still – styll, Sucks – sux
