Saluting Lamphere

I Know that when I turn out My Light .

And I am alone here to face another night .

As I whisper for the Lord to hold you tight .

That everything is going to be alright.

I ask Him to keep you safe both night and day.

Until your home again with us to stay.

It's then In my mind I can hear you say

Don't worry Mom, I will always be okay.

It's then that I let out this little sigh.

As I wipe the tear that falls from my eye.

Pull your picture close by my side.

Feel My Hug Son ? I won't cry.

Time to sleep now,

 turn off  my light.

Lord keep you safe  Son.

All through the night.
