Where Louisiana Begins

Lake Providence, a very small and cozy town is located in the Northeast corner of Louisiana near Arkansas and Mississippi, has been called “The Poorest Town in America”. Although such a “bad” image has been portrayed by Time Magazine, East Carroll Parish is not what it is said to be. Yes, there is violence and crime. Okay, name one place there isn’t. the citizens of East Carroll Parish  knows how to show our visitors and tourists a great time.
