The Earthangel Project

This is currently under construction but will remain live whilst work is added. - April 2008

The Lumbhua village school has approximately 400 children in attendance and is run by Lumbhua village council, Lumbhua is a remote village near the city of Luckhnow in Uttar Pradesh, India.
The children range in ages from four to ten years old.
Classes are conducted under eight trees, the students sit in the sand on the ground, there is no school building, there are no benches, tables or chairs for the students to sit on.
When it rains the school day comes to an end and the students return to their homes because the sand becomes too wet and muddy.
We are trying to raise funds to build a school building for these children.
We would also like to provide some desks for the students to have a more comfortable environment to enable them to study in a more school like facility.
We need your help no matter how small it is, it will help in some way to provide even if its just a book or a pencil for one of these kids.
They will really appreciate any assistance given, we thank you for your kindness, and compassion on behalf of these very needy children.
We thank you for any donations you wish to make.

Our aim :

Our aim is to raise funds to build a much needed village school house in Lumbhua, Rajwarey Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Reasons being :

Classes are held outside everyday but are interupted when it rains as the children have no shelter and that is the end of the lessons until it is dry again.
