General Rules
Nerfinator is a game. The object is to "nerfinate" the other players before they can "nerfinate" you, so you can have the highest nerf kills to death ratio (high kills, low deaths).

The game is played with NERF guns. Your gun must shoot foam darts (no modifications to darts or any balls). Gun mods ok. You must be a member of the Eagan Speech Team and sign up in order to play. Your goal is to locate your enemies while they are out roaming the "real world" (outside of school and speech) and shoot them. If a dart hits you anywhere on your body you are dead for the rest of that day. All clothing is live as it does not block bullets, however objects that you are holding, such as a shield, could stop a kill. The game relies on the honor code. If you shoot someone you must report it to Andy (preferably by email). False reports are penalized by death. Eagan High School and all of its property is a neutral zone, along with any school field trips where EHS rules and policies are to be followed. You are to follow all EHS rules to play, meaning you may not take or conceal your gun when you are in a class or on school grounds. Saturday is a neutral day (no nerfing at tournaments or at all on tournament days). Work for players is also off-limits, however coming and going between the parking lot and the doors of their employment is open. Peace treaties may be declared in social gatherings in which players would like to "hang out" without the fear of death. A player is also not permitted to enter the home of any other players without permission. Buys ins while the game is in progress are allowed. To buy in a member must submit the $4 entry fee and they will start at the bottom of the ranks, with one less point than the current low of a player with a kill or death recorded. The true Nerfinator champion is the player with the highest score (kills minus deaths).

The game lasts until the last tournament of the season (we wouldn't want our section and state competitors distracted!). March 25th is the last day.

Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded after the last tournament of the season:

1st: $50
2nd: $32
3rd: $20
4th: $16
5th: $12
6th: $10
7th: $8
8th: $6
9th: $5
10th: $4
Most Nerfs: $20
Nerfinator of the Week (most nerfs Mon-Sun): $2/week
Nerfinator of the Final Week: $4

Total = $197 in prizes!!

When more players buy in, the amount of entry/prize money grows. This extra money will be used for some random prizes at the end of the game, for example, a random drawing amongst players that did not receive any monetary awards. Note, you can win multiple awards. The person ranked first at the end of the game could win the $50 first place prize PLUS $20 for most nerfs PLUS a couple $2 nerfinator of the week prizes, bringing a total winning to a good chunk of money. Of course, if you get second but nerfed the most people, you'd earn $2 more than first place. If more than one person is tied for a rank they will combine the ranks that they cover and split the money. For example, if 3 people are tied for second place at the end they will add up the money for second, third, and fourth place and divide it evenly.

Reporting Kills & Signing Up
All kills need to be reported to me, Andy. The best way that you can do that is to send me an email saying "SHOOTER killed VICTIM today", replacing SHOOTER and VICTIM with the appropriate names. You can also call me, but in order to save some minutes on my phone I'd probably let most calls go to my voicemail, so just leave a quick message (I don't get texts so don't waste your time).
