I sit in adoration.
Of God's creation all around,
For mother nature is His expression,
Of His love that I have found.
His beauty is in each flower that blooms,
His voice is in each song of the bird,
He baptizes this old earth with rain drops,
And this all just came from His word.
I listen to the soft breezes around me,
It's His hand that flows through my hair.
I can feel His presence within me,
And I know my soul is in His care.
It's a joy to be in tune with nature,
For she was created for us to enjoy,
And God looking down and smiling,
We know it's not ours to destroy.
So bask in her loveliness she gives us,
And treat her with tender care,
Use her for that is what God intended,
And you will find God everywhere.
