Technology is advancing very fast these days especially in the media and music areas. Changes including the internet have advanced allot within a few years now with fast speeds allowing us to send and receive big pieces of work. This helps allot with working from around the world and being able to be in talk with people in other country's via email. This is a big advance in communication around the world. Not only has the internet helped communication but also in the way which people work. Producers and engineers now transfer big arrangments to other engineers across the world which makes making music with anyone in the world impossible.

There are always new formats which are being developed to produce the best quality in all areas. I believe that Blu-ray and HD DVD will be a great step forward allowing more space on DVD discs. I can see this wiping out the original dvd cd's as they will be of better quality and allow developers to have more space to work with. Overall technology is always changing and advancing forward.
