My Little Man is a novel about my Cocker Spaniel
who has a chronic platelet immune disorder.
This novel starts from the beginning of three years ago
when I first acknowledged that Dex had a problem.
I have written this novel as I have found over the past three years
that there are not many vets or pet owners who know about this disorder
or vets who are not willing to treat this disorder for various reasons.
I wrote this novel as I want those who have cockers
to know what this disorder is about.
My little man and I have been through some very trying times
and it has been an emotional rollercoaster every time he has gotten sick.
Over time I have learned the warning signs that I need to look for,
the type of vet to choose, the dangers of Dex's disroder,
and what it has taken to keep my little man alive.
