Welcome to the Official Website of Tony Redhouse

NATIVE American world percussionist and flautist, TONY REDHOUSE combines drums and rhythms from around the world with chants to create unique performances. A Navajo hoop dancer from his youth,TONY resonated with the pulse of the Navajo drum, which also awakened his interest in other indigenous global drums. In the Monterey Bay area of California, he was exposed to Afro-Cuban and Urban Soul drumming, which he combined with the traditional nativedrum. This combination of his traditional Navajo music with other ethnic musical styles has created a potent multi-cultural fusion that has become his signature style. The most ancient and natural forms of musical expression were the voice, the drum and the flute. These timeless channels of healing and meditation can also summon us to reflect on our own seasons of life. As a recording artist, Professional Speaker and Entertainer, TONY utilizes these Traditional Arts in his presentations to various federal government agencies, universities, Native American communities and resorts across the country. TONY has also served as a traditional Native American consultant and practitioner for Native American behavioral health centers. TONY brings traditional wisdom to any individuals or groups seeking inspiration and strength in their contemporary life.
