Bio: I have enjoyed a rather long career in the field of dentistry which began in 1984 with on the job training as a dental assistant. At that time I was sent to Baylor College of Dentistry for a three day course in Dental Radiology which provided me with certification in that area. This was followed with a term of seventeen years non-stop as primarily chairside assistant. In 2001 I worked with Dental Boot Kamp, a company that provided case acceptance and practice management seminars and workshops all across America for dentists and their teams. This involved consulting, counseling and providing coaching and implemention skills for private practices. For the last two years I have enjoyed a career in the teaching profession sharing my vast knowledge and experiences in the dental field with those seeking the dental assistant profession. I have been fortunate to be in the company of some of the finest in the dental profession and feel obliged to pass on some of the "pearls of wisdom" given to me.
