Welcome to a new Create A Reploid topic. Well, even though it is called Create A Reploid, it is done so more out of tradition than anything, since you can create any character based on the Mega Man Zero series using the guidelines and rules below, and have it rated. Guidelines Name: Simple as it sounds. The more clever the name, the more points you get. Stats Here, you want to show more or less where your Reploid stands on performance standards. The way you show this is through the Star system that was seen to show the performance of Zero’s forms in Mega Man Zero 2. The star ratings go from one to four, one star being the weakest, four stars meaning that your Reploid excels in that category. As a general rule, try to have your Reploid balanced; if he has high attack, his speed or defense should suffer as a result. Here are the subcategories. Life Energy: How many bars of health your Reploid has. *Your Reploid only has half a bar *16 units* of life. ** The Reploid has a full bar *32 units* of life. *** More than your average Reploid, he has two bars *64 units* of life energy. **** This Reploid is a beast, having a total of 3 bars *96 units* of life energy! Attack: The amount of damage that your Reploid can deal in any given moment. * Weak attacks. Usually denotes a character that does not do much damage in a single shot, preferring to use rapid fire abilities or attacks with added effects to wear down the opponent. ** Moderate attacks. The attacks from this Reploid offer moderate damage and are typically harder to avoid, but they do not possess any great Area of Effect attacks. *** Strong attacks. Usually denotes that the Reploid is capable of unleashing powerful Area of Effect attacks. *Gamma Sigma’s *X5* giant purple block of doom is a good example of this this* **** The attacks unleashed by this monster are capable of one hit KOs. *Final Lumine’s Paradise Lost from MMX8 is a case of this* Defense: The defenses of your Reploid. They are as follows: * The Reploid takes double damage from attacks. You should only use this if you feel that your Reploid is overpowered in other aspects. ** The Reploid takes normal damage from attacks. Nothing special. *** You may use this rating if your Reploid carries some kind of shield that repels certain attacks, like buster shots, or is naturally immune to them. *ProtoMan from Mega Man 7 using his Protoshield is a good example of a character with this rating* **** This rating can be used for quite a few meanings. It can mean your Reploid only takes 1/2 damage from enemy attacks. It can also mean that the Reploid must be hit on a certain spot to be damaged *Kaiser Sigma, MMX3*, carries some kind of shield that repels all attacks that must be broken through using a special method or that dissipates after a certain amount of time *Auras from Mega Man Battle Network series*, or can become invincible for periods of time *Gamma Sigma, MMX5*. Speed: How fast your Reploid can move during combat. * Walking or stationary. Your Reploid moves slowly or not at all. *Final Weil, MMZ4* ** Running speed. Your Reploid can run about, jumping and maneuvering with some agility. *Mega Man Classic is a good example of a character with this rating.* *** Dashing speed. Your Reploid rockets across the area, using high speed boosters or dash units to dash or fly circles around it’s foes. *Tengu Man from MM8 comes to mind* **** Warping. Your Reploid is capable of disappearing and reappearing elsewhere, disorienting the foe as attacks seem to come from nowhere *a la Phantom, MMZ3* Continued |

Element What element is your Reploid? Each element has its own distinct advantages and disadvantages. Non-elemental Strong against: None Weak against: None Nothing good, nothing bad can be said about the non-elemental Reploid. They have no elemental weaknesses to exploit, but cannot exploit the elemental weaknesses of others, nor can they use the natural benefits of the elements. Fire Strong against: Ice Weak against: Lightning Fire can cause extra damage by burning damage, which makes this a favorite to powerhouse Reploids. Magma is a favorite stage arena for Fire Reploids, since it usually means instant death for their adversaries. Ice Strong against: Lightning Weak against: Fire Freezing or slowing down foes is a staple of this element, leaving them open to another attack. Also, floors covered in ice are hard to maneuver in, due to sliding. Lightning Strong against: Fire Weak against: Ice This element is quite stunning *sorry*, paralyzing those that are caught in it. It can also denote a magnetic nature, able to repel or attract foes at will. Magnetized floors and electric currents running through the ground can cause the opponent to forget the real threat. Shifting Strong against: Varies Weak against: None Shifting means Reploid can change its elemental nature at will, suiting its environment and its enemy’s weakness, a la Copy X. The downside to the Shifting Elemental nature is that the chosen elemental property is not as strong as one who is of only one element. Not only that, but the Shifter does not gain the immunities or weaknesses that the pure elementals have, meaning that a Shifter that has selected Fire as his element does not gain sudden immunity to Magma, nor does he suffer more damage from ice attacks. Description Here, you want to go ahead and go into detail about what your Reploid looks like. Vital statistics such as height, weight, eye color, hair color, color of their armor or clothing, what the aforementioned armor or clothing look like, their weapons and what they do, any extra accessories, ect go here. Also be sure to point out what type of character you have. I’ll go ahead and list them below. The more creative and original your design is, the higher the rating on this area. Also note that a pic of your character is nice, but not necessary and won’t affect your score much since not everyone has access to a scanner. Type So, yeah, the topic’s name is Create a Reploid. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that the creations must be limited to Reploids. You may use any type from the below, just as long as you make them fit into the Mega Man Zero series. Reploid: The robot that can feel, think, and make its own decisions. Credit for the following names goes to the creators of the Mega Man X: Unrest RP topic in the Fanfiction/RP board. Atlas: Reploids outfitted with armor, and are designed for war. X and Zero are Atlas types. Dryad: The animalistic Reploids. They usually usurp the unique abilities of the animal they take after. They can be real or fictional beasts. Prometheus: Humanlike Reploids that can eat, drink, go potty, and all that good stuff. It’s often hard to tell them apart from Humans unless you’d put them under an X-Ray. Due to their lighter nature, they are often more agile than their Atlas cousins, but take damage much more easily. Neo: Reploid designs that were abandoned long ago. These are the “New Generation Reploids” that could use DNA data to transform into defeated enemies, or partially use the abilities of lesser foes. These Reploids tend to be ancient, or have acquired the Copy Chips from others, since Copy Chips have not been manufactured for over a hundred years. Continued |

Human: Flesh and bone, but somehow outfitted to wage war with their Reploid comrades. You may also make the person a cyborg to enhance his or her combat abilities. Robot Master: Robot designs that preceded Reploids. Bound by the laws of Robotics, these robots could still make small decisions on their own, and had personalities and ideas that rivaled that of humans. Sadly, the Robot Master was born with the personality that it was programmed with, and usually never went beyond that unless it was reprogrammed. In other words, whereas Reploids had the ability to learn and mature over time, Robot Masters were stuck at whatever age and mindset they were programmed with for their entire lifetime. Mechaniloid: A grunt robot that tends to do the jobs that Humans and Reploids tend to find tedious, boring, or dangerous. Some have been outfitted for battle, and others are designed for it. Although not necessarily bound by the laws of robotics, they are still required to carry out the tasks assigned to them, and have little to no free will of their own. Cyber Elves: Data manifest in an energy form, meant to act as performance enhancers for Humans and Reploids. They consume far too many Energen Crystals for their own good, but the effects are worth it. There are three different types of Elves. Nurse: Affects health and the life gauge. They take care of all your energy needs. Animal: Performance enhancers that increase the abilities of one’s own body, and can also act as support by providing cover fire or dragging one out of pits and such. Hacker: Affects the surrounding environment, as well as the data of a mechanical body, drawing out techniques and abilities one didn’t know they were capable of. Personality Tell me what goes through your character’s head. How does he or she react with people, alone, and while fighting? Does the character’s past affect him or her, and how do they deal with it? Is it inherently good or evil? Does it struggle with both sides? The more interesting the personality, the more points I’ll give. Faction On whose side does your character fight? Does it fight for Neo Arcadia, or does it fight with the Resistance. Or is it another party altogether, such as the Humans that fled Neo Arcadia for Area Zero? You may make up a faction, just as long as you explain how they fit into the world and events of Mega Man Zero. Attacks What kind of havoc can your Reploids wreak? Please try to correlate the attacks to the attack strength you had given your characters near the top of the sign in sheet. Be sure to list each attack separately. When listing your attack, list how much damage it does, keeping in mind that in the Zero series games, Zero’s life gauge is 16 units when it starts off. You may also list them as estimations, such as “moderate” or “strong” if you don’t want to get that technical, assuming that “strong” means it shaves off more than half of Zero’s life gauge in one hit. Be sure to point out the “A/S Skill,” or basically, the ultimate attack of your character. This is where you can get a little unfair with your attack, but don’t overpower it too much, or else I’ll dock points and such. It’s not necessary, but battle cries or bits such as how to actually dodge attacks will net you extra points in this category. Continued |

Story This is where you can place your character to do good or evil in the world. Go nuts, but no dialogues, please. Tell me about your character's history, their current exploits, and if you want, how your character dies. I don't mind multipage stories, but like I asked before, please stay away from dialogues. Rules 1: The character must be set to fit in the times of Mega Man Zero. 2: No blatant rip-offs of characters in or out of the Mega Man universe. Slight homages are allowed. 3: While characters created to inspire a laugh are allowed, any obvious attempt to mock the topic will be ignored. 4: No dialogues please. They tend to take up more space than they are worth, and are usually too long and too tedious to read, or are just plain silly. I rate out of ten, and do not actually use a points system because I find it too restricting and a little cumbersome to be attaching and adding up points to specific categories all the time. The first three to get a score of 9 or higher get to be raters. Subsequent high scorers can replace raters if previous ones decide to withdraw. I can’t wait to see what this topic’s creations will be like! End --- Such be all of humanity, a species clinging to hopes that reality be but a dream that they may wake from it in Heaven. |

I don't see why not, but go ahead and use the Guidelines I provided so that others have a template to look off of. When you list your weapons and such, list them as different attacks, not as Specialty and Secondary weapons. I'm not looking for a cut and paste job, mind you, so I don't want to see "Specialty Weapon" or "Specialty Weapon Weakness" as a category. You can also just list the character's class in the description so you're not being redundant. Like I had said, your character type also goes in the description. I'm going to bed, so I'll look in on Sparrow tomorrow, okay? Later. --- Such be all of humanity, a species clinging to hopes that reality be but a dream that they may wake from it in Heaven. |

Name: Nightride Vamp Lifebar: 2 Attack:** Defense:** Speed:** Element: None Looks: Black and red robo-humanoid-bat. Spikes on the ends of the "bones" of his wings, and no seperate arms. Each spike can shoot a purple laser (more on this afterward). Clawed feet. Attacks: Note: Always flying during fight... Claw sweep: Sweeps downward from corners of boss area towards where Zero is standing, then angles to the opposite corner. The angle should determine how Zero dodges if he doesn't want to get hit. Tele-claw: Back faces screen and opens wings, when they close he disapears (ala Pacman). Will reappear on one of Zero's four sides and claw at him, repeat 4 more times before reappearing on courners of screen flying. Wing laser: Points most outer wing spike towards Zero's location and fires purple laser. When laser hits wall it bounces. Will bounce 3 times before dissipating when it hits next wall. Shoots 6 times upon every entrance in Wing laser attack phase. Should any lasers hit one another they stop moving and form a purple ball. When shooting phase is done, Nightride "powers" balls up from current location and balls create a laser in all four directions from where they are in the boss area (grid style. Find the open spot, Zero!) Can also fire once per attack phase, but in a 3 shot spread at equal angle spacing. EX ATTACK/LIFE DRAIN: Upon reaching 25% health, will fire a ghost looking clone that constantly bounces off walls. If hit, will not deal damage but will hold Zero in place, making more susceptible to shots already fired. However, when caught, Nightwing will immedietly fly towards Zero. Zero can mash buttons to get out more quickly. If Nightwing touches Zero while caught, Zero will not take normal touch boss damage but will be "sucked" of his life at 1 tab every half second. Nightwings life will recharge at two tabs for every one taken. Personality: A spastic robo who tends to be extremely confused, as every time he is encountered he is awaken from his nap, hanging upside down, where it takes him a bit to learn what is going on. Tends to think of Zero as an annoyance that needs to be gotten rid of in order to continue sleeping. Alignment: Evil Faction: Made by Dr. Weil in order to drain power from opponent robo's as a source of fuel. Why find fuel when you can steal it from your enemies? While annialating them too! |

This sheet kinda gives away some stuff I have planned for Sparrow in Rebirth, but I hardly care. If you're wondering, Neo Cham has already given me the go-head for it. Well... here goes a monster of a post. Non-Trigger Zero people: If you don't understand what I'm talking about, don't worry about it. It's not important. Name: Sparrow Kline (KLNE-000NCM), also less popularly known as Venutio Cantus. Age: By the events of the Zero series (Omega Incident, Ragnarok), Sparrow is 107 since construction, however, he is teenaged in appearance and mentality. It's hard to attach an actual age to his form besides "late teens". I added this section; no one else need feel oblidged to include it. Stats: Life Energy: * Attack: ** Defence: ** Speed: **** (Yeah, bite me.) Element: Neutral as default. Potential for all elements (see: Attacks). Description: Sparrow stands slightly higher now, at 5'6", even if that is still not extremely tall. Still humanoid, Sparrow's design does not go to great lengths to reflect his name. His long hair is now a muddy, light-brown color, which is tied in a braided ponytail which goes down to his waist, and longish fringes cover most of his forehead, but are still short enough to not obscure vision. He has a normal skin shade of beige typical to Caucasians. His eyes are still mismatched, a little tribute of Dr. Kline's to Sparrow's old body (see Bio); left is a deep blue, and right a bright green. Running down the outer-to-inner edges of his eyes and over his cheeks and down into his armor are thick lines in a darkish gold color. These lines actually trace all the way down the sides of his body, arms, and legs under his armor. Sparrow’s armor is minimal. His entire body, save his head, is covered with a strange, forest green-colored film material, which looks like it would be thin, but is completely opaque. His armor consists of slightly oversized knee-high boots, elbow-length gauntlets, and a thick armor plate which covers his chest and back, and resembles a sleeveless jacket. While most Reploids wear a protective covering over their pelvis on the outside of the armor, Sparrow wears his under the bodysuit. There is a slight bulge in his armor around his wrists and ankles, which are colored grey, while the rest of his armor is a matte black. As before, there is darkish gold trimming, same as the color adorning his cheeks, running up the back of his gauntleted arms and the sides of his boots. He has a lithe, wiry build typical of a Neo, but it is now somewhat hardier than his old body looking without actually being bulkier. He now lacks the scar over his left eye, as there was no reason to include it in the new design. Sparrow still does not wear a helmet, even in combat situations, as he finds it tends to dull his senses some, and even drag him down in combat. His design was modified to forgo it entirely, instead having vital equipment usually in the helmet - such as communications gear - installed directly into his head, and it can be switched on and off at will. Sparrow has no visible "gem" like most Reploids. It is internal, rather, and outside of armor, Sparrow could easily pass for a human. The gold lines are usually dead giveaways to his Replodic nature, but they are passed off as unusual tattoos whenever possible. |
| Kiessik | Posted 10/31/2005 5:04:21 AM | message detail |
|
His new body also sports wings. Obviously mechanical in nature, the wings are modeled after a falcon's, which allow them to fold up and on his back while not in use. The wings are the same matte black as his new armor, with green trimming in the same color of his body-suit, and gold accents in the same color as his cheek-lines. Rather than being built to run on dash trust alone, like it was done in his original body, Sparrow's wings rely on a wholly more efficient propulsion system - an anti-gravity field generator built into the wings themselves. This uses negligible amounts of Sparrow's core energy, as they have their own source to draw from, also built into the wings. While this anti-grav force sufficiently lightens Sparrow, he still must use his Dash Thrusters to actually remain airborne. While in combat situations, the wings are folded on his back while not being actively used, in normal situations they are "phased off"; in other words, they are absorbed into his body in the same way the Copy Chip works. This way, they do not obstruct normal, ground-bound movement. (Note: Yes, I am aware that his armor aesthetics are... heavily inspired by MMZ-style Zero. However, I feel I've made enough changes for it to be just original enough.) Type: Neo Reploid Reploid designs that were abandoned long ago. These are the “New Generation Reploids” that could use DNA data to transform into defeated enemies, or partially use the abilities of lesser foes. These Reploids tend to be ancient, or have acquired the Copy Chips from others, since Copy Chips have not been manufactured for over a hundred years. Personality Sparrow is, in a word, an optimist. While the torrent of time and experience has melted his previous naivety into even-handed wariness, he is still willing to view humans and Reploids alike in light of their strengths rather than their faults, and acts accordingly. As such, Sparrow is a very easy Reploid to get along with for ones of matching or at least vaguely similar personality (ex: Fighting Fefnir?), while at the same time, can be downright irritating to those of a more businesslike persuasion (ex: Sage Harpuia). Good-natured and -humored, and at the same time oddly playful, his rather non-military personality can get him in trouble sometimes, but his competence in combat and other areas prevents Harpuia from simply tossing him out of the Rekku army, as much as the Guardian would like to. His past laziness has also erased itself, leaving Sparrow as a loyal friend to his allies, and a coldly competent soldier to his enemies. Faction Neo Arcadia |

Attacks: Similar to Harpuia, Sparrow spends most of the battle airborne, hence his placement in the Rekku army. Hitting him with a Light attack will make him flinch, but not ground him, while a Moderate or Heavy attack will knock him to the ground. Name: Double Sabre Strike Damage: Moderate (both strikes combined) Battle Cry: "Hah!" How to Avoid: Simply back out of range. Description: Two beam blades that protrude from his wrists and extend past the hand for about 18 inches, the resemble a Katar blade. As in mockery of his mismatched eyes, one if blue with the other is green. This is purely visual, not denoting any elemental properties. Sparrow slashes with the left, blue blade, then dashes forwards with a slash from the right green blade, regardless of the success of the first strike. Only used while grounded. Name: Rising Sabre Damage: Light Battle Cry: None. How to Avoid: Dash away from the blade's path. There is ample opprotunity to dash under Sparrow in the middle of this maneuver, leaving him open to attack from behind. Description: Uses his blue blade in an uppercut attack, similar to Zero's SplitHeavens. After this attack, however, Sparrow remains airborne with his wings rather than dropping to the ground again. Only use while Sparrow is grounded. Name: Sabre Sweep Damage: Moderate Battle Cry: "Hyah!" (both passes) How to Avoid: Dash-Jump over to avoid on both passes. Description: Sparrow flies at his opponent, just barely overhead, and drags his blue blade under him in an attempt to slash his enemy with the inertia of his flight. Regardless of the success of this, he comes back in the opposite direction, doing the same with the green blade. Only used while airborne. Name: Buster Shot Damage: Light Battle Cry: None. How to Avoid: Jump over it/away from it. Description: Sparrow takes a shot at the enemy with his buster gun. Used while grounded and airborne. Name: Charged Buster Damage: Moderate Battle Cry: "Hah!" How to Avoid: A Moderate or Heavy attack will cause Sparrow to lose his charge. Otherwise, jump over it, but the size of the shot makes it difficult to avoid. Description: After spending a few seconds charging (a white aura), Sparrow points his Buster at his enemy and unleashes a large, quickly moving plasma shot. It hurts plenty. Used while grounded and airborne. Name: Air Kick Damage: Light Battle Cry: "Yah!" (Getting old now, is it?) How to Avoid: Dash away. Description: Sparrow dives down from the air, feet first, in an attempt to kick his enemy in the face. A successful hit will cause him to strike with both of his Sabres and jump off the enemy, sending him skyborne again, while a miss will have him land on the ground, and stay there, prompting him to use a ground attack. Used while airborne. |

Name: Copy Chip Damage: Varies, depending on form. Battle Cry: Varies, depending on form. How to Avoid: Various; most you can simply jump over/dash under. Description: Using the Copy Chip, Sparrow will take the form of either Kyubit Foxtar, Fenri Lunaedge, or Panter Flauclaws and attack with the corresponding element once before shifting back into his default form. Name: A/S SKILL - TRISTORM NOIR Damage: Heavy Battle Cry: "Shinu!" (Well, all the other bosses speak Japanese. I probably got it wrong, but it basically means "Die!") How to Avoid: Each elemental blast hits in an area the previous didn't, and nowhere else. Simply stay in that safe-area, moving with it for all three blasts. More difficult than it sounds. Description: Sparrow pounds the ground (a la Rakuhouha), and first thunder, then ice, then fire rips across the battlefield, one after another. Sparrow uses the elements in his Copy Chip data to summon these elements. While this is being executed, Sparrow's black armor turns white to indicate all elements. Cheezy enough? Maybe, but hey, this is an A/S Skill. Also, Sparrow can only use this once per battle. Story: (A lot of the backstory is copy/pasted, I'll admit. Sorry, but it's not like I can change it... 'cause, well, it's the backstory.) Not being very old, Sparrow doesn't have a terrible lot amount of history behind him. He was among the last of the "Next Generation Reploids" built from the Axl prototype, copy chip included. Unlike many of the others, however, Sparrow did not go Maverick in the slightest; it was later found out that by some weird fluke, Sigma's data had not been implanted in his copy chip. After the Jakob incident, many of the remaining next generation reploids were being either dismantled or destroyed entirely. However, because of his fluke, he was offered a choice; either join a military service or be disabled like the others. Sparrow had heard of another reploid similar to him, Axl, in the Maverick Hunters, so he figured he'd be most accepted there. And so he was drafted into the Hunters, but he doesn't seem to mind, and even somewhat enjoys his work. After joining the Maverick hunters, Sparrow himself destroyed his brother, Raven, who had gone Maverick, ending up minus an eye after the fight. He doesn't like to talk about Raven, or any of his brothers (of which there were many), really, and tries to think of them as seldom as possible, as the memories of his dead brothers saddens him. Sparrow was actually more powerful before fighting Raven; he was damaged badly enough that some of his systems had to be reconstructed at Hunter HQ, which made him lose a more powerful version of his buster cannon. It was replaced by an older one, which was based off Zero's design. The reconstruction also purged his impressive DNA library, causing him to have to start over. |

|
After both Sparrow and Karet met their untimely demise at the hands of a Maverick, Sparrow was legally resurrected, using the DNA Data that all Reploids have. Both because Sparrow was a Maverick Hunter, and because Dr. Kline, the Reploid's creator, was under direct supervision of the Government, the normally illegal procedure was used to resurrect Sparrow's DNA Data in the form of a Cyber-Elf, which he spent some time as before finally being able to transfer with a permanent merge to a new body, built by his father. The new body was a Next Generation body, called a Neo class, with few changes; Sparrow retained the Copy Chip and its Library and Chimera abilities, but other aspects of the Neo body, such as aging, were removed. His DNA Library was also purged, once again. Unfortunately, Karet's DNA Data was damaged beyond repair, and she was not resurrectable, and is now resting in peace. This all happened in 21XX. After the events of the Rebith Saga (TZ will know what I mean... just think of it like the events between the X and Zero timelines), Sparrow, being a Maverick Hunter, was dissolved into the Neo Arcadian army just like the rest of the Hunters. After the Guardians were constructed, however, he was transferred and served under them. Because of his abilities of flight, he was placed in the Rekku army (led by Harpuia), and has slowly risen the ranks (partly hampered by his impressive list of insubordinations), eventually becoming a... whatever rank is under Harpuia's. Would that be General? Who cares. While most old-style Reploids were destroyed/replaced in the Neo Arcadian army, Sparrow's design was nearly flawless and not duplicable, after the death of Dr. Kline. Kline was nothing short of a genius in the field of Replodic Design, very nearly on the calibre of Thomas Light and Albert Wily; not quite, but still pretty high up there. Many of the very newest models of today still have trouble keeping up with the old Reploid. Technically, Sparrow is, by now, a Neo Acadian Reploid, but he has some symphathies with the Resistance and with Zero in particular, having been a fellow Hunter with the Red Terror in the past. He still followed orders, however, and has fought the Resistance according to thus. However, recently, Sparrow has entertained thoughts of defecting to the Resistance, but keeps these well bottled up. --- Fin Whew. |

It feels good to be at the helm of this topic again. I missed the feeling. Nightride Vamp 7.5/10 This is actually very good for a fist timer, but a few things to note. The description is very... vague. I know what his wings look like, but not the rest of his body. I kept thinking Devilbat Schilt as a result while reading your character, although they only vaguely resemble each other in their fighting styles. Not only that, but the lack of any coherent story aside from the fact that Nightride likes to sleep is kind of dull. On the plus side, the attacks were done well. Sparrow 10/10 Overkill. Very well thought out, and I'm glad I didn't get a rehash of your sign up sheet for the RP. A few things though. I noticed that you had placed your Speed at four stars, although Sparrow doesn't seem to have warping abilities. From what I noted, he would be a three star. But that's being nitpicky. Other than that, great job. --- Such be all of humanity, a species clinging to hopes that reality be but a dream that they may wake from it in Heaven. |

Name: Talon Experiment Version 2.0 Stats: Life: ** Attack: ** Defense: ** Speed: *** Element: Neutral Description: "Talon Experiment Version 2.0" is a fairly basic male reploid in appearance, designed to look human. He is slightly shorter than most reploids or people, and lightly built. He has short brown hair, which appears to be kept well groomed. His eyes are green, and always partially closed as if he is always tired. His skin tone is fairly pale, but not to the point where he appears white, just enough to notice a difference from most Caucasians. He wears fairly normal clothing for humans. A long-sleeved gray shirt, with a large-pocketed dark green vest overtop of it. His pants are the same color as his vest, and somewhat baggy. He wears a fairly plain thick black belt. He wears thick brown boots, with little noticeable features. the only thing he wears that would make him stand out in a crowd are his gloves. They are obviously of reploid technology, made to create blades of energy at the tips of his fingers. During combat, these blades appear and look somewhat like claws. Type: Reploid Personality: "Talon Experiment Version 2.0" is a very impersonal reploid. Although reploids have the ability to change and learn over time, "Talon Experiment Version 2.0" is very static. He has been essentially brainwashed to do whatever his superiors tell him to do. He is very efficient, and does no more than what he feels is necessary. However, he is quite self-preserving, and will abandon anything he is doing if he feels his life is threatened. Faction: His creators, a small group of scientists within Neo Arcadia. They are paranoid of both Neo Arcadian governments and the Resistance, often making "Talon Experiment Version 2.0" go on missions to sabotage either side, or occasionally assassinate a member of either side. Attacks: Basic slash Damage: 2 Battle cry: "Hyah!" Talon Experiment Version 2.0 slashes at his opponent with a claw. Used at close range, while on the ground. Fairly easy to avoid, just stay back from him. Head Cracker Damage: 6 Battle Cry: "Yeargh!" Talon Experiment Version 2.0 climbs to the ceiling, then falls down on his opponent claws first. Although the attack is carried out quickly, if dodged Talon Experiment Version 2.0 becomes stunned from attacking the ground with force, leaving an opening for attack. If he hits, he bounces of the head and lands on the ground without incident. Not used very often. Spinning Slash Damage: 3 Battle Cry: "Yah!" While jumping in midair, Talon Experiment Version 2.0 does a single frontflip with his claws above his head, creating a circular slash. Fairly quick, and only done while in midair at a certain height, typically leaving grounded enemies unharmed. CONTINUED... |

Impact Strikes Damage: First hit: 2, Second hit: 3, Third hit: 5 Battle cry: "HAH!" on each strike. Talon Experiment Version 2.0 charges energy for various amounts of time, in a similar manner to Zero, except he remains stationary. When he finishes charging, he punches the ground in front of him, creating a small burst of energy in the immediate are of his hand. If he charges long enough, he will quickly do another strike with the other hand. If he charges long enough for a third strike, the last attack will be more powerful than the previous two, with a wider area of effect. If the first attack hits, the stun will make it easy for the next two attacks to hit. However, due to the charge the attack is very easy to dodge, and not very threatening. If hit mid charge the attack will be stopped. A/S Skill - Warp Fury Damage: High Battle Cry: "YEAGH!" During the flash of light, "HA!" For each slash. Description: Talon Experiment Version 2.0 flashes white for a second, then warps behind his opponent, where he begins a series of slash attacks. The lower Talon Experiment Version 2.0's health, the more slashes he does. The attack is most easily dodged by jumping to a wall, or jumping with good timing. Story: A group of scientists working under Neo Arcadian command were ordered to try and create a combat reploid designed to hide among humans and destroy possible threats to Neo Arcadia from within in the manner of an assassin. The project seemed simple enough, so it was done without complaint. However, the first model of the project (now called Project Talon) was an utter failure, far too obvious of a reploid to hide among people. This set the project back to the point where it would not be ready in time for the Neo Arcadians to use it in the way they planned. The government officials who were making the scientists work on the project scrapped the entire plan, dismantled the reploid created, and fired the scientists. However, a few of the more 'extreme' scientists had become caught up in their work and refused to stop working on it. They set up a workspace in secret, stealing any intact parts they could from the remains of the original project. They studied more advanced designs, and eventually created a suitable reploid, which they dubbed "Talon Experiment Version 2.0". It was never given a true name, due to the fact that the scientists viewed it as a mere piece of equipment. From creation, it was bombarded with brainwashing messages, designed to alter the way he thought so that he would obey without question. Soon he was deemed "complete". But it did not end there. Soon the scientists who made "Talon Experiment Version 2.0" became worried that people would figure out what they had done. The fear of being discovered drove them to madness. They became paranoid, sending Talon Experiment Version 2.0 to kill off people they suspected of knowing too much. Eventually they began to worry about the Resistance too. They knew little about it, other than the fact it was a threat to Neo Arcadia. So they assumed the worst and added it to their list of targets. And Talon Experiment Version 2.0 obeys without question. However, on one of his attempted attacks on the Resistance, he caught sight of Zero in combat and felt he was not ready to fight Zero at the time. This revealed the self preserving part of his personality, which had been unseen due to the simplicity of the previous orders. However, the scientists are now worried even more. If the Resistance has something which makes Talon Experiment Version 2.0 change the way he acts, even if only temporary, they must be a threat, according to the way the scientists think... ***** Hmm... what do you think? Been a while since I made one, so I may be out of practice. |

Name: Sloth Title: 1 of the seven Generals of the Dies Irae Army. Unit: Sabotage, guerilla tactics, Suicide missions. Unit is made out mostly of fanatics. Banner: Purple, with a black Tornado. Reason for Joining Dies Irae: Boredom, lack of purpose. Stats: Life: *** Defense: ** Speed *** Attacks: *** Element: None Design: (atlas type) I’m sorry, I don’t know anything about Inches and pounds, so I’ll use the European measures… Height: 1. 78 meters. (doesn’t usually stand upright though) Weight: 60 Kg. Sloth’s armour segments are purple, his arms, legs, throat and waist black, his fingers/toes/spears are yellow, and the orbs in his chest, palms and head are maroon. He has a small head with a slim face, and vertical red markings over his eyes, like a clown. His helmet wraps around his face, enveloping his slightly protruding chin, and standing a little out from the forehead. From his helmet, two scythelike metal place curves inwards towards his back, somewhat giving him the look of a jester (think a Twilek, or Astarroth of Soul Calibur). His throat, waist, arms and legs are, like his spears, retractable. For Sloths’ torso armour, imagine an upside-down pyramid, except that its tip is rounded, his shoulders curve inwards, and that after reaching its maximum width at the chest, it slims in again. Also, the armour slopes between the shoulders. In the chest, a large orb is located. His waist goes into a V-shaped “crotch” segment, with upwards curving edges. Sloth is armed with a large stock of retractable spears stored in his large hands and feet. They are made out of hundreds of segments that can retract within themselves, and has small rotateable joints in between. This allows Sloth to use tips of spears protruding from his hands as fingers. His hands are very large, and the only thing Sloth-like, with Sloth being Animal. His hand segments are tear shaped, with the slim end going above the elbow. Inside these segments the spears are stored, visible through glassed domes on the back of his hands. His fingers come out of an opening following the lower edge of the segments, and can be relocated by running along this opening. A line crosses the segment just before the glassed dome, marking a “bellows”-like joint, which acts as a wrist (the joint is hollow, so the spears can pass through). In his palms, 2 red orbs are located. These orbs, along with the one in his chest, gives him the ability to create density-altering fields, for example allowing him to make low and high pressure cells in the air, allowing him to hover, gain speed (by being pushed/pulled), or crushing enemies. His feet/boots are somewhat like a clowns, being long, with a wide brim. The edge is chipped, and is thus made out of small upwards pointing spikes. His “toes” curve upwards. Sloths’ entire Body is designed to be able to clasp together; His head pops down betweenhis shoulders, his hands rotate 180 degrees and his palms fit into his shoulders, his crotch can be drawn up to his torso, and the feet clasped to the sides of his crotch. Sloth never goes into this state voluntarily, as it is responsible for a lot of his warped mental state. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. For children. Attacks: While battling Sloth he bounces around the room, using speed and his ability to hover and attacks to his advantage. Zero needs to watch his movement, and hit him with charged saber slashes when Sloth performs his moves, which is the time he's easiest to hit. Spear Stab: Sloth thrusts a fist in front of him, and a fast Finger spear is launched acrosss the screen at Zero. Can be dodged by very well timed jumps and dashes, if used from above. Sloth can attempt to trick Zero, by thrusting out a fist, NOT firing, and nailing an airborne Zero, who jumped too soon. Note: One spear is launched at a time, and if used while airborne, Sloth momentarily stops. Damage: 3 units. Flail Stab: Sloth Swings an arm/leg like a flail, and throws hand/foot at Zero, only to stop it in mid-air, and launch a finger/toe spear. When the move is readied (swinging arm) Zero needs to place himself so he doesn't get trapped by the arm/leg, and cannot escape. Damage: 3 units if hit by limb, 3 by spear. Maze of Spears: A powerful, but risky move; The attack covers a lot of the area, but leaves Sloth vulnerable: Sloth leaves himself suspended in midair, and launches all of his limbs into the room, each of which will launch spears of their own (one at a time pr. limb per second, 3 spears max pr. limb) After the last spears has been released, the entire contraption lingers for one second Zero can sometimes only survive by timing his jumps, so that the spears disappear the second he descends into them. Damage: 3 units pr. spear. Twister kick: Can only be used while airborne. Sloth hangs in the air, kicks one foot over his shoulder, and begins spinning Counter/clockwise while extending his legs, and using low pressure cells in front of his feet to increase their speed. The result is an expanding circular kick, which takes up a decent part of the screen. Is mostly used unexpectedly, when Zero jumps in to damage Sloth. When the move is executed, Zero needs to put as much distance between himself and Sloth as possible. Damage: 5 units Battle cry: Yyaaa! Body Smash: Sloth shoots his hands into the ground in front of him, does a front flip, and smashes his feet in. He repeats this, so that he travels across the floor/walls in a “Slinky-like” way, if ya get what I mean. He stops after 1 round around the room, or if he manages to trap Zero between his hands and feet. If he does, he will drag his body upwards, and let it come crashing into Zero at wicked speed, like releasing a Slingshot. However, should Zero get trapped, he can deal major damage with a well-timed vertical rod stab. Damage: 5 units, 4 if hit by his flipping around. Battle cry: Iehehehe! Compression: Sloth jumps around, while compressing the air around Zero to extreme densities, in an attempt to crush him. The air will compress 4 times. Damage: 6 units Slow: While standing still, Sloth attempts to place a compression field on Zero with his right hand, thereby reducing his speed. The field is represented by a semi-homing circle which Zero must outrun, while dodging Spear stabs from Sloths' other hand. A/S attack: Extreme Air density: Sloth increases the pressure in the entire room, causing everything to move slowly- excluding himself. Zero's mind adjusts to the density, and movements are shown in relative speed; I.e. Sloth moves very fast now. The effects of this move last 15 seconds. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. For children. Faction: Dies Irae (Day of Anger = Judgement day) A mysterious Reploid organisation, Dies Irae, which started out as a secret haven for reploids, Remnant, which sealed itself completely off from the outside world before the Creation of Neo Arcadia. However, they reveal themselves 5 years after X had tried to destroy Neo Arcadia and was defeated (my previous storyline), and are intent on using the opportunity of a weakened Neo Arcadia to purge humans from the world, as well as the former resistance members who’ve joined them (in my story, there was finally peace between the Resistance and N.A.) The organisation was founded by another General, Pride, (a former Repliforce general, and his unit during the events of MMX 5 and 6) in order to ensure the survival of reploids. Pride had concluded that Reploids were both in danger of the maverick virus, and unfair generalisations by humans. They began constructing an underground city, and chose to remain secret out of fear of being labelled ”Mavericks with dreams of utopia for reploids”. The rumour was spread in nationalistic areas, and amongst reploids who had been wronged by humans and Maverick hunters. Along with Reploids stumbling upon it by coincidence, these types of reploids came to make out the bulk of Remnants’ Civilisation; Because Remnant was as much against mavericks as it was against the hunters. Mavericks were seen as mindless brutes, and much too often, the tools of some Megalomaniac (Sigma, Gate). Eventually the city grew, and became a self- sustaining society where they even began constructing their own Reploids. A society, where distrust, and even hate towards humans were passed down, as they were commonly blamed on the maverick virus, and at this point, we’re nearing the birth of Neo Arcadia, and combined with a strong focus on city defence, the result was the creation of an army. When a massive tower, through which humans could remove and contain the Maverick virus, was created (also part of my previous plot –see page 7 of the CAR 2 archives), it was widely feared among reploids that it could have other uses, such as robbing the Reploids of free will. Immigration for the mythical “Remnant” soared, and after the destruction of the tower and surrounding area was blamed on reploids, it became invisible to the rest of the earth, only opening up in order to dispatch one of the officers as a spy. He was to report when it was safe for the Reploids to emerge again. However, he never reported back. Thus, the final impression of humanity was very unflattering, and as the years in the underground went by, the Reploids began growing tired of waiting, and began to talk of “Excacting justice” on the surface, and that when they finally came up, it would be paradise. The city was ruled by 7 generals, who later adopted the names, Sloth, Gluttony, Envy, Lust, Greed, Pride and Anger. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. For children. One day, A reploid on the run from Neo Arcadia collapsed in the wastelands above Remnant. The gates were briefly opened, and the Reploid taken inside and repaired. The Reploid told of many things; of N. A’s atrocities towards reploids, of his own losses, and that nearly all other reploids in the world was under N.A’s control. This caused incredible uproar, and the hatred for humans skyrocketed. However, the reploid also said that N.A. was weakened, vulnerable. The Reploid entered the military, and soared due to his invaluable inside knowledge, which was verified by the spy, whom the reploid had confirmed to be alive. Eventually, through a strong sympathy vote, the reploid was elected leader, promising to protect Remnant from the humans. After a few years, Remnant was renamed Dies Irae, now a militant nation bent on destroying all humans. Through massive propaganda, by playing on the existing dislike of humans, and building on the nearly religious visions of “justice” and “Paradise” Remnant had been twisted into a vessel of its new leader, calling himself Hate, and launched an attack on Neo Arcadia. PERSONALITY: Contrary to his name, Sloth is, a lot of the time, quite Hyper-active. He’s mildly psychotic, has got very destructive tendencies, and loves causing chaos and mayhem with his powers. He’s a reckless, disobedient adrenaline junkie, and one of the major reasons he joined Dies Irae was boredom. He lacks respect towards most of the other generals and often behave childishly around them, only listening to Pride and Anger, but showing a general disrespect towards authority of any kind. He gained his name from showing a lazy attitude towards work he doesn’t find interesting, being lazy about carrying out orders correctly or carrying them out at all, and because of what he can do to his enemeis. He doesn’t give a damn about the “cause” of Dies Irae, and is unaffected by the semi- religious propaganda, yet his unit is composed mostly of those most fanatically devoted to it -this is more due to the nature of Sloths’ missions than anything. Despite being disobedient, childish and not caring about their goals, Sloth earned his rank through exceptional combat skills, unique abilities, great potential for causing havoc…and an animalistic hate for humans. He also has severe claustrophobia. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. For children. But once you turn 16, it becomes very very good." -Leela, with a Dk edit. Yay! we Danes get drunk early! |

Story: In a secret military facility, human scientists were developing the compression system, that would later be implanted in Sloth. The goal was to create robot warriors capable of both defence and offence; halting enemy projectiles and vehicles, crushing objects. The army was to serve as semi-intelligent guardians of humans, and were constructed by human nationalists. Sloth was created as a prototype. In order to maintain control of him, the scientists gave him the mind of a child, and seemingly locked it this way, to avoid change. Testing of the prototype began, and Sloth was shown how to use his destructive abilities in obstacle courses, but was also pulled through painful endurance tests, often being treated as a guinea pig. His every move was being monitored, and guards constantly followed him around, being swift to punish complaints or resistance. At night, Sloths would be put in his compact state by a remote, his Orbs would be painfully removed, and he’d be set in to recharge. Sloth quickly became scared to death of the night, where he’d be put in that petrified state, and developed claustrophobia and insomnia. So far, his childish mentality had served it’s purpose, and he had become scared to death of defying his masters. However, as his training progressed, his skills increased, as well as his intelligence…and Sloth began showing signs of “Growing up”. The scientists noticed, but testing was going well, and no problem has shown so far, so they let him be. But as the years went by, and Sloth was upgraded, he learned to hate his masters, but his upbringing had still made him terrible scared of them. The only time he felt joy was on the obstacle courses, wreaking havoc, imagining that he was punishing his masters. One day during testing, Sloth accidentally killed a scientist indirectly, by causing a wall to collapse on him. Sloth was astounded at how easy it had been to kill one of his tormentors, and became instantly aware of just how powerful he was. Guards were sent to restrain him, but he effortlessly killed them. Now jubilant, Sloth rounded on the scientists, only to be sent into his hated Compact state. The lead scientist showed him the remote, saying that every scientist had one, and that it also could self destruct him. Sloth was now forced to resume his role as a test subject under the threat of death and increased observation, while the scientist prepared a complete memory wipe for when the testing was completed, and Sloths’ skills and training could be copied. Meanwhile, Sloth succeeded in creating a link to his orbs when they were dislodged, using his head gem. With the use of his compression devices, he was able to create the spears from their storage room itself, while still being clasped together in another room. Sloth was able to create new weapons, and transport them into the Training section, where he managed to snatch them during an obstacle course run. Finally, when the final test run arrived, and all the scientists were gathered, Sloth seized the opportunity. He began massacring the humans, his spears giving him the element of surprise, and enough speed to kill them before they could deactivate him. Sloth left the facility in ruins. Now, as a result of his “upbringing”, Sloth had an extreme distrust of both humans and authorities in general, a still somewhat childish mind, and the only feeling of purpose, and only source of joy, being destruction. He joins Remnant, and meets Zero for the first time 100 years later, during a surprise attack on Neo Arcadia. He is the first general Zero meets. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. For children. Name: Metax Drillgleim Stats: Life Energy: ** Attack:**** Defense: ** Speed: * Element: None Description: A roughly Zero-sized reploid, with a red-brown coloured humanoid body. His legs are thin and grey-coloured, and instead of feet he has large fans which he uses to hover above the ground instead of walking, since his limbs can barely support his heavy frame. This means he can only travel exceedingly slowly without the use of a teleporter. His arms are more strongly built than his legs, and instead of hands he has a regenerating supply of missiles and a launcher on his right shoulder and arm, and a large drill on his left. His head is simply a large armoured helmet with eye holes and a small slit for a mouth. His whole body is battered and damaged, and he has a large crack on his drill arm. Type: Atlas Personality: Drillgleim is a soldier, pure and simple. He lives to fight, and regards everything else as meaningless. To him, morals and beliefs are for fools, and he will often fight with the losing side in a war, because he enjoys a challenge. He has basically no opinons of his own due to the haphazard programming of his,and so he will fight with or against whoever he wants. He has two AI processors: the simple mechaniloid programming of the Drillgleim Unit, and the more intelligent though still mechaniloid-esque Metax programming. Attacks: Ganga Drill: Similar to the attack of the Gangagun enemy in Z4 (hence the name), Metax expands his drill arm and slams it into the ground, drilling into it and sending debris all around the room. If the slow-moving drill hits Zero, it does 5 damage, and the debris does 2 damage every it hits Zero. It's easy to dodge the drill just by dashing and the debris can be slashed at to destroy them. (EX skill) Missile: Metax fires off a missile at Zero. The missile does 5 damage if Zero is caught hit by it or caught in the explosion. Triple Missile: Metax fires off 3 regular missiles. Drill Punch: Metax fires off a missile, grabs it with his drill arm, and slams his drill arm into Zero, setting of the missile and striking Zero with the drill at the same time. Does 9 damage. You can jump through Metax's actual arm (not the drill), so get to the opposite side of the room to the one that Metax is on, and dash as soon as the missile flies towards Zero. (A/S) Story: Metax was created as part of the perfect soldier program in 21XX, and was supposed to be a heavy support mechaniloid to back up other units created as part of the program. The design, however, proved to be flawed, as the weapons given to Metax required a large amount of accuracy, something which mechaniloids lacked, and the creators of the program were afraid that if Metax went maverick as a reploid, then he would be nearly unstoppable. So, they deactivated the Drillgleim Unit, as it was originally known, and sold it to the fledgling organization known as the Repliforce, who wanted to use Drillgleim as protection against any attempted maverick assualts on the force. After several months with the Repliforce, a group of mavericks attacked their base. Drillgleim fought off most of the mavericks, but was heavily damaged by one of them. The only way to repair the damage was to replace Drillgleim's mechaniloid parts with reploid ones, but the Repliforce refused to, because they were afraid of the consequences if he went maverick. As such, they sealed away Drillgleim on a deserted island nearby, unsure of what to do with him. 100 years later, he was found by a Neo Arcadian scientist, who, unaware of who or what he was, modified Drillgleim into a reploid named Metax Drillgleim, hoping to get him to help to fight for what was left of Neo Arcadia. Metax, however, had other ideas, and due to the haphazard programming of the scientist, he had no desire to fight for Neo Arcadia, and so ran off. On his way to nowhere in particular, he was ambushed by a group of mavericks headed for Neo Arcadia, and so he decimated them with ease. Feeling that fighting was all he could do well, Metax decided to fight for a living, and continued on his way to nowhere in particular, this time with a goal... --- The blood of a century old hero has such a lovely odor... |

Sorry. Sorry. I've got no excuse. Let me rate these babies now. Talon Experiment V. 2.0 9.5/10 The personality is a bit dull, though fits in quite well with the story. For a practice run, this is a well made 'roid. Nice one. I will note a few things though. In your speed setting, you put average speed, that being 2 stars, meaning that your Reploid has no real dash ability, but his EX skill allows him to warp. That would make his speed 4 stars no matter what. You've earned the ability to rate. Sloth 10/10 Based on the Seven Deadly Sins, eh? Nice. Everything was done very well, and your star descriptions matched your Reploid's attack style very well. You can rate now, if you want. Metax Drillgleim 8/10 A decent start, but a few things, though. The 4 star rating means that your Reploid is capable of instant death attacks, which I don't see in any of your attacks. Also, his personality is kind of dull, since he doesn't anything, and has no other wants but to fight. Other than that, it was still a very good read. --- Such be all of humanity, a species clinging to hopes that reality be but a dream that they may wake from it in Heaven. |

Burning Hammer: Hephase leaps and swings his hammer down at the ground, sending out a shockwave in either direction. The hammer does 6 damage, the shockwaves do 2 damage. Battle Cry: "Wroaaargh!" How to Dodge: Just dash under his leap, then jump over the shockwave. Ground Submerge: Hephase slams down on one of the three segments of floor that make up the room, submerging it into the molten metal below for five seconds. Contact with the molten metal is fatal. Battle Cry: "Wroaaargh!" How to Dodge: Just stay away from the segment of the room that got submerge. EX Skill Sensuikaen/Falling Flame: Hephase ignites himself, drops toward the floor and slams his hammer down, sending out towers of flame in both directions that grow in height. Contact with Hephase during this attack does 6 damage, the towers do 4 damage. Battle Cry: "Sensui... kaeeeeeen!" How to Dodge: Either jump over the towers as soon as they get sent out, or stay on the wall right next to the ceiling. Other: Story: Dracon Hephase was built to manage a foundry in Neo Arcadia. He was exceptionally skilled at managing the Reploid workers, although more of his success came through intimidation than anything else. He was infamous for punishing lazy or incompetent workers by crushing them and melting them down while forcing the rest of the factory workers to watch. When the newly instated Provisional Government of Neo Arcadia came into power after the fall of Weil and began mass executions of suspected Mavericks in Neo Arcadia, Hephase's foundry was put in charge of recycling the destroyed Reploids. EX Skill: Sensuikaen/Falling Flame Down+Saber in midair is a diving flame stab that either destroys or severely damages anything it comes in contact with. |

Dracon Hephase: 7/10. A good reploid; nice name, and I liked how you included "how to dodge" and Ex skill. Your reploids attacks matched your ratings, and were cool but few. However, it was a very short read, both in terms of description and personality. I also feel that you could have added more to the story if you'd wanted to. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. Name: Ark Stats: Life Energy: *** Attack: *** Defense: ** Speed: *** Element: Non-Elemental Description: Type: Atlas Ark stands 6'2'', having a normal weight for his size. He has red eyes. His frame is not unlike Zero's in that he has armor on his legs from the knee down, on his feet, on his chest, a helmet, and armor on his arms from the elbow down. His main color scheme consists of a a dark blue, maroon and black. The majority of his armor is the blue, including his helmet, which is overlapped by a crescent, maroon in color, which is flipped on its side, with the points facing up. On top of the crescent is his crystal, which is green. Ark's vest has the normal stripes on it, colored blue, along with a part going through the whole vest. The trim on the vest is yellow. All of his body without the armor is black, along with his hands, which are white on the fingers. Ark's palms contain tiny crystal spheres that are used as his Buster and an energy drawing and releasing point. On his arms are slits that hold skinny beam saber hilts. These hilts are part of him, being able to switch position. When they are faced up, they are in disuse, but when they face down, Ark engages the sabers for combat. Ark uses his sabers along with his fists in combat. What he uses when is unpredictable. On his back is a small pack that initiates a cloaking device if it is dark out. Personality: Ark is an enigmatic Reploid. Usually he is quiet and indifferent, not opting to speak or respond to anything unless he has to. Almost nothing can force him to respond in the matter of flinching or emotional pangs. This goes along great with his ability to be cloaked. But when in the heat of battle, Ark can get loud. He tends to try and psyche his opponent out, whether they know where his is or not. If he thinks he's won a battle, he starts getting arrogant, which can sometimes make him predictable. Faction: None Attacks: Name: Double Slash Damage: 4 damage per slash Battle Cry: Huagh! Hah! How to Avoid: Get out of range Description: Ark dashes forward as his sabers engage, slashing twice while still moving. Name: Quad Slash Damage: 3 damage per slash Battle Cry: Hoo Hah Yah Hya! How to Avoid: Get out of range Description: Ark jumps toward enemy and does a four slash combo. Name: Ki Buster Damage: 8 damage Battle Cry: Die! How to Avoid: Climb a wall and jump over or double jump Description: Ark puts his hands together and points them straight forward, with fingers out, as if holding a ball. He then fires out an energy blast after charging a short time. Continued |

Name: Stab/Ki blast combo Damage: 12 damage Battle Cry: Too easy! How to Avoid: Climb to the wall until Ark stops Description: Ark dashes from one side of the room to the other, stabbing the enemy upon arrival, then shooting a buster charge shot that launches the enemy. Name: Stun Damege: 2 damage Battle Cry: Hold still! How to Avoid: Stay out of range Description: Ark dashes forward, grabs the enemy and jabs them, making them fall to the floor for about 2 seconds or until Ark attacks again. Name: Kinetic Launcher (EX SKill) Damage: none if enemy doesn't hit a wall, if they do, 16 damage Battle Cry: Yaaaaaaaaaaah! How to Avoid: Avoid Ark Description: Ark dashes toward the enemy, charging up while doing so. Ark stays in puruit for several seconds. If he gets to the enemy, he releases a huge amount of kinetic energy that was stored up in the charge, making the enemy shoot in the direction of the blast. Most of the time, the enemy will hit a wall. Name: Copy Ability Damage: As much damage as the ability that was copied Battle Cry: Take this! How to Avoid: Avoid Ark Description: Ark grabs the enemy, copying a move and then quickly pulling it off right in front of the enemy. Name: Screaming Wind Damage 10 damage Battle Cry: Die now! How to Avoid: Get on a wall and climb to the top, then jump away from the wall as the wave nears you Description: Ark charges up his sabers and slashes up from the ground, causing an energy wave to speed toward you, planted on the ground. This wave gets bigger the farther it travels. Name: Flying Kick Damage: 4 damage Battle Cry: Hah! How to Avoid: Get on a wall, then jump when Ark is about to hit the wall Description: Ark gets to a wall and dashes away from it, jumping and kicking in mid-air. If this hits, the enemy will be thrown back a small distance. If it doesn't hit, then he hits the wall, making the enemy fall if he is currently on it. Story: Ark was the first in a series of Reploids created to observe fighting styles, learn, and mimic them. He was to be an important defender of Neo Arcadia, only slighty less prominent than the Guardians. Ark was created successfully and he went through initial training to show him the effectiveness of this ability. Ark trained very well and his creators were put to the test when Ark received his first mision order from the Neo Arcadian government. They called him to be the captain of a team of Reploids and Pantheons, on a Maverick search and destroy mission. Everything went according to plan at first. Ark's squad went off to find these Mavericks at the given coordinates. But after traveling a while and coming to a dense forest without finding the Mavericks, they decided to camp for the night. As midnight arrived, an explosion was heard. Ark went to look around with one of his Reploid subordinates, a female Atlas named Aya. They found that one of their Pantheons that went on patrol had been destroyed. They hurried back to the campsite only to find ruin. All the others had been killed, including the other five Reploids. |

Ark and Aya left the camp, reporting what had happened. They were told to return back to Neo Arcadia, but it was too late. A group of Mavericks ambush them and quickly disable Aya. Cornered, Ark used his copy ability to combat them, all of whom were of different elements. He succeeded in dispatching two of the Mavericks, but he was overwhelmed and defeated. He was nearly killed, but the Mavericks took him, along with Aya, to their small Resistance Base. There, Ark and Aya were repaired and refitted with new armor. Because of the Mavericks' hospitality, Ark didn't return to Neo Arcadia, but went Maverick himself. Along with Aya and the other Mavericks, Ark went on a number of missions to attack Neo Arcadia. In the process of doing this, he was given new weaponry from the Resistance scientists, including a cloaking system. Ark eventually left the Resistance Base to return to Neo Arcadia, becoming a sword-for-hire. He was considered a full-blooded Maverick by this time in Neo Arcadia, so he performed his "services" only by night, when he couldn't be seen. This gave him the naickname of the "Ninja Maverick" and the "Shadow Assassin." Ark returns to the Resistance Base occasionally and completes tasks for them. After the ruler of Neo Arcadia, X, was killed, Ark caught wind of Zero, the legendary Maverick who did the job. Since gaining that knowledge, Ark has aspired to meet and work with Zero. Hope you enjoyed reading! |

Name: Remnant / Odysseus Stats Life: ** Attack: **** Defense: **** Speed: * Element: Shifting Type: Mechaniloid / Hacker Cyber Elf Description: A hacker Cyber Elf designed by the crazed genius Dr. Decus Sparta. A man shattered by the Elf Wars, his wife, daughter, and son taken by Reploids, he spends his time plotting against the Reploids and destroying the grip that they have in government in Neo Arcadia. The Cyber Elf is named for the hero of the Odyssey. It enters the body of other Reploids and manipulates their bodies, turning them into a shape that it can control. The body, which is known as Remnant, are the remnants of the Reploids that Odysseus has assimilated, hence it's name. It is powered by radiation particles in the air, which it accelerates into it's arm like fans on it's back. It is human shaped, though much larger and is mismatched, wires and cables appearing everywhere, no real detail save for the faces of Reploids that appear throughout it's body. On it's back, several tendrils whip about, which it uses to assimilate new Reploids, taking them apart and adding their parts to it's own. It also takes their DNA, adding their particular "special weapons" to it's arsenal. On it's lower back, it has several arm like fans which spread out *think Burning Gundam from G-Gundam*, which allow it to draw in Particle Energy, which powers this abomination, as well as fuels most of it's weapons. It's right arm is a drill which it can charge with Particle Energy, effectively making it a beam saber. It's right is actually an elemental cannon, which accounts for it's shifting nature. On it's chest, there are two minigun like surfaces which it uses to fire small but rapid bursts of Particle Energy. It's back has several jet packs, it is only to help with forward movement; Remnant cannot fly or dash anywhere. Remnant cannot hide it's presence. The Reploids it has absorbed are still active inside it, and their faces appear throughout it's body, Remnant having little choice but to force the faces back into it's body. The effect is such that it appears as if though faces are constantly appearing and disappearing throughout it's body. The faces cry, scream, and plea for help, asking to be put out of their misery or for their freedom from the abomination. When Remnant is struck, the faces shriek in pain. Whether the faces were merely an unfortunate side effect of Odysseus powers, or whether it was a feature incorporated by Decus himself is unknown. Remnant makes the use of special shielding to protect it's body, which is extremely fragile. These shields must be overloaded by causing a set amount of damage within a certain timeframe for them to overload and power down, where they recharge after a few moments, and the process must begin anew. Just posting what I've got on Gluttony so far, to keep the topic bumped. I will not rate Ark unless Trigger gives me permission, because I don't want to hog the ratings. Name: Gluttony Title: Dieas Irae General Unit: A secondary attack force, following the main army of Anger. The units function is ”Purging” conquored territory of all enemies, and destroys all constructions to make room for expansion of the semi-mobile Remnant city. Banner: Brown, with 3 green locusts Reason for Joining: Was shown friendliness, was given justification for his Feeding Frenzies. Stats Life: *** Defence: *** Attacks: *** Speed: ** Element: None Design: Atlas/Dryad/Prometheus Height: With his back fully stretched he stands at 2.5 meters, just shy of 2 in his normal hunched state. He weights a ton. Gluttonys head consists of two parts: his mouth and the rest. His mouth is seen as 4 curved plates sticking out of whre his face would have been, forming a tube. At the end of the tube, at the edge of the plates, vicious forwards-pointing teeth at nearly the lenght of the mouth are located. His mouth kinda makes him look like an anteater from hell. Now, the teeth can be rotated like a drill, used while digging, or dicing up potential food sources. The 4 mouth plates can clasp open, leaving a gaping hole, surrounded by a flower-like formation, looking a little like B. Flizards headgear. The teeth can be turned so that they point outwards again, and the whole mouth can be rotated, making it look like a mincer. He can lash out a long, whip-like tongue. The rest of his head looks like a helmet, and is formed as a single segment. Between his long narrow eyes, at the edge of the mouth, his crystal is located. Sloping back from his forehead the helmet forms into 2 backwards curving horns, and 2 smaller pairs of spikes where his ears and cheeks would have been. Going into his head from his 2 back-tanks, are several pipes guiding his vital digestive acid. His head is light brown, except for his green pupils (disappears in his berserker fits) and his dark brown head spikes. When wearing his cloak Gluttony stands straight, and tilts his head downwards, so that his mouth grazes the chest, and is covered by the cloak. At this angle, his eyes look like tears, and reflects his kinder nature. He has a rounded Pear-shaped body; Broadest around his shoulders slimmest around the waist. Where his shoulder sockets would have been, two spheres are inserted, each with a pair of arms protruding from opposite ends of the spheres. One pair of arms is much more “Muscular” than the other, consisting of 2 plated components, separated at the elbows. All joints (throat, elbows, knees, waist, wrists) are grey. .Long slits on his fore-and upper arms serve as vents of the by-products of his “respiration”. Spikes stick out of the back of his hands. His 3 fingers are made out of continually smaller segments, but there’s no joints between- a thin cord goes through the segments, and allows for mobility. In dig mode the cord retracts, and the segments form into drills. This pair of arms is usually the lower. His other pair is much longer and thinner, consists of more than two components, and therefore has several joints (although usually held like they only have one). This pair of hands are much smaller, and have normal claws instead of drills. In dig mode, these arms slope around the back, to make for a more streamlined form. Because of the spheres, the arms can switch place. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. For children. But once you turn 16, it becomes very very good." -Leela, with a Dk edit. Along his spine his body shapes into backwards curving spikes, separating two grey tanks on his back. These tanks pump his acid around the body, with visible pipes going to his head, and into a giant, transparent container in his belly. Gluttonys uniqueness lies in this acid: when he eats materials the acid makes for an “Digestion”, leaving useful materials behind, that Gluttony can use to repair his body from within.. Built-in components in his tanks allow him to modify it to corrode only materials he doesn’t need. The acid also acts as “blood” transporting the materials around the body, because of its inability to destroy needed materials. This Acid is the cause of his *** Defence rating; Gluttony slowly heals during battle (3 units every 8 seconds), and his healing is so effective that it cuts damage from the buster by 25%, seeing as how it only strikes the surface, whereas saber/Rod/boomerang goes deeper. From his crotch-segment he sports a tiny tail as a direct continuation from his spine, and a huge pair of legs, matching his larger pair of arms. His large feet have downwards curved toes, used to kick back dirt while underground. These cannot turn into drills. Whew, that was a tough one to describe. As soon as I can get my drawing scanned, I can show him to you. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. For children. But once you turn 16, it becomes very very good." -Leela, with a Dk edit. This is the first of two Reploids, I'll post the second one later. Stats: Name: Ares (Named for the Greek god of war) Life Energy: *** Attack: *** Defense: ** Speed: ** Element: Neutral, but attack elements vary. Description: Ares is a tall humanoid Reploid approximately twice Zero's height in a black bodysuit. He has a gold chestplate with silver trim. He also has gold gauntlets and boots trimmed with silver. His short silver hair is partially covered by a gold domelike helmet with silver circuit etchings, and his eyes cannot be seen due to a black visor. His main weapon is a massive red energy sword which he can cleave most Reploids in half with. Personality: Ares is extremely strong, but not very smart. He believes that any sort of strategy is unnecessary if he can simply overpower his opponent. He prefers not to use any sort of deceit, rather preferring to use his overwhelming to strength to destroy his enemies. In battle, he is extremely agressive. Faction: Neo Arcadia Enforcer Unit Attacks: Sensuikaen/Falling Flame: Ares leaps into the air, ignites his sword, and dives toward the ground. When he hits the ground, he sends out pillars of flame in both directions that start growing in height. Contact with Ares does 6 damage, contact with the towers does 4 damage. Battle Cry: "Sensui... kaeeeeeen!" How to Dodge: Either jump over the towers as soon as they get sent out, or stay on the wall right next to the ceiling. Samukebakushin/Cold Rush: Ares turns his sword into an icicle, then starts running toward a wall. When he hits a wall, it is covered in ice for five seconds. Anything on the wall is stuck to it until the ice melts, and the wall cannot be climbed. Contact with Ares does 6 damage, getting frozen to the wall does no damage. Battle Cry: "Sa! Mu! Ke! Ba! Ku! Shin!" How to Dodge: Stay on the wall until Ares is close, then jump over him. Kasaagedenryuu/Rising Current: Ares electrifies his sword and leaps into the air, sending out five balls of lightning in a spread. Contact with Ares does 6 damage, contact with the lightning does 4 damage. Battle Cry: "Ka... saage... den... ryuu!" How to Dodge: Find a gap between the lightning and go through it. Mijinuebu/Particle Wave: Ares sends out an energy wave by swinging his sword. Contact with Ares does 6 damage, contact with the wave does 4 damage. Battle Cry: "Mi... jin... ue... bu!" How to Dodge: Get up high on the wall, above the wave. Other: Story: Following the fall of Weil, the Provisional Government of Neo Arcadia came to power. Blaming Mavericks for Weil's rise, they started mass executions of Reploids they deemed as political enemies. Close to the beginning of this program, Neo Arcadian archeologists discovered records of the Repliforce's "Perfect Soldier" program. Scientists analyzed the records and decided the reason the project failed was that what the Repliforce was working with was too incompatible. They decided to create two robots that were less different in nature: a strong, aggressive fighter, and a cool, collected thinker. Ares was the strong, aggressive fighter. Together with his sister Athena, he carries out his orders of eradicating all enemies of Neo Arcadia and the Provisional Government. This goal will ultimately lead him to battle with Zero... EX Skill: None. Ares is a major boss and therefore does not give out an EX Skill. Design Notes: -Ares has the four EX Skills of four bosses: Dracon Hephase's Sensuikaen, Voltiger Byakoid's Kasaagedenryuu, and the Samukebakushin and Mijinuebu from two pending bosses. -You will be forced to fight Ares once you defeat the four bosses you get Saber EX Skills from. -The room you fight Ares in is two screens wide and two screens high. |

Ares: 8/10. Better than your last, with more original attacks and story. I like how you name the attacks in japanese, but renember to list an A7S attack. Where you need to elaborate is in the Description/personality department. And a minor thing is that a few more paragraphs wouldn't hurt. --- "Alcohol is very very bad. For children.
