I heard on a radio station in 2012 that "most people that do not trust the police don't trust them because of
the authority they have".  The talk show host went on to say that he was "brought up with structure, and as a
result, he trusts the police".  Okay, maybe some people who don't trust the police don't trust people with
authority, case closed.  I believe most people who distrust the police do so because of things they see with 
their own two eyes, and/or hear in the media.  For example, in 2014 and 2015 alone, the below links are a very 
incomplete listing of true stories involving cops.  Clicking on a link takes you to a story on another website.
