Stone Temple Pilots evolved their first album in 1992.  Setting the stage with music that started from alternative rock into stadium rock.  Jolted crowds whether loud on stage, or playing the albums in a cd player.  With catchy riffs, and amazing vocals, some thought they were more of a rip-off band going from Soundgarden, to Pearl Jam, to Alice In Chains.
