Welcome to the official web page for the paranormal study team named Central Iowa Paranormal Investigation Team. (CIPIT)
The goal of CIPIT is to investigate, analyze and try to find logical explanation for seemingly paranormal events. By using technological and scientific methods we will attempt to explain supposed hauntings in a rational light.
Co-founders Aaron Keith and Kameron Sawtelle have a deep interest in otherworldly happenings and approach these occurrences with a skeptical nature. This is not to say that we wish to disavow any claims of hauntings or the existence of the unexplained. However, we do think that many people's experiences can be defined using logical explanation. When the opportunity does not present itself to validate the claims of paranormal activity, we will consider the site to be "active", but not necessarily haunted.

Big news in the world of CIPIT. We had our first investigation at the Vienna Township Cemetery. We didn't catch anything on film, but we did catch an EVP. As soon as we figure out how to do it, we'll post the EVP on the site. There is also a bio section up on the site now where you can learn a little more about the members of the team. There is also a new member on the horizon. Look for another bio page soon! Check back frequently to get all the news on upcoming investigations and our findings.

CIPIT has a new member. Our new member is Matt Handley. He will be helping us out as an investigator and will be handling the tech section of our little group. Matt is great with electronics and building web pages. He also has a great deal of interest in the paranormal (actually got me into formal investigation)and a good intuition to go with attention to detail when looking over evidence collected.
The next investigation we go on, Matt will be going with us. We will also be having him make his bio page in the next few days. Look to be hearing from him and about him in the future.

Merry Christmas to all! I also wanted to throw out a huge thank you to CIPIT's best buddy Steve Adelmund for creating our logo for us. This guy rules. Check out his book The Hunger which is released now!
CIPIT is going out on a couple of investigations this week. I will let you know what we find, feel, don't find, or disprove. Thank you again for your support of this group.

Hello there! Just wanted to let you know about what's going on in the world of CIPIT. We've been dealing with some in climate weather lately, so we haven't been able to get out and check the "scary" places. Although, there is a glimmer of hope! It was 60 degrees today. We also have a hot tip from a possible memeber of CIPIT about a very hot spot located just a few miles from the HQ. We'll let you know when we go and if we find anything.
